We are always on the hunt for wonderful places to celebrate special occasions and we found Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen and Bar at the Atlantis hotel in Sanya located in Haitang Bay. Our date night has been made even more special with a top class British gourmet food quality. The staff and the restaurant's service is really good. I was filming with my phone and they noticed that I didn't have a cellphone stand so they provided me one. Props to the attention to detail. We basically went there to try out Gordon's famous beef wellington but unfortunately they had ran out because guests booked them in advance. We actually just got lucky to reserve a table a day in advance due to cancellation. The head waiter told us that they were actually full before 2 tables got cancelled a day before. So yeah. We got lucky but at the same time gutted because we didn't get to taste Gordon Ramsay's signature dish. BUDGET: We spent a little bit over 3,000 rmb with drinks and desert. Pricey, yes, but with the overall ambience , service and delicious food , 3000 rmb is really worth it! We will come back and make sure to book the beef wellington months in advance. We really suggest that you call them atleast a month in advance to make sure you get to reserve a table specially if you are going during the holiday season. One more thing that we really like about this place is where it is located. We got there 40 minutes earlier so had a great time walking around the hotel which has luxurious shops and a massive acquarium with a lot of different marine species. I spent an afternoon at the Atlantis adventure park. You can pre-book your tickets or when you get there you can buy them at the kiosks in front of the gates before entering but you’ll have to wait in line for a while. The place was a little packed but still enjoyable. Good place for 1 day trip. A remote place from other touristic spots in Sanya. 📍How to get there - we used DiDi (English) to Atlantis Water World. You are free to go inside even if you didn’t book a room in a hotel. On the territory there is a huge aquarium (main sightseeing for tourists :)), luxury restaurant with the sea world view 🐠, famous piano that plays by itself, hotel, duty free zone (it’s a heaven for shopaholics 😉) and of course Aqua Park. We spent a couple of hours inside and went to explore the suburbs. Beach next to that place is wild but beautiful, with clean water and sand. #bucketlistreboot

The weather wasn’t favorable for the outside activities so decided to go visit the lost chamber aquarium (Sanya Atlantis). It is located to like 35 km from where I was staying, I spent about an hour on the road to get there . As soon as I arrived the smile was all over my face because this place is absolutely amazing, checked in and enjoyed the whole experience, there was so many species…. there was a Show and the the whole thing was just wonderful ! The building was huge and had many things to do. I loved the VR gaming area. The swimming pools were nice and clean. However, there was not much choice in food selection by the pool. One of the main pool bar lounges opened around 4/5pm which is not ideal especially for people wanting to stay by the pool all day and have lunch/snacks by the pool. The pool lounge should be open during lunch. Imperial Lounge, this was a great perk but limited in vegetarian options. Its a nice hide away as it was quite and had a great view. This is a very expensive hotel but i wanted to splurge for christmas. The first experience was checkin, that took about 45 minutes to get checked in. Ok fine, don't want that to ruin our experience, so we also got the emerald club access. so we went to the 18th floor and it was closed so had to go to the 48th floor. There was a long line and decided to leave. The facilites and room was beautiful but service is something that needs to be improved. We got a deluxe suite and it was beautiful, although the free mini bar after 4 nights wasn't restocked once. The C show is pretty boring, dont waste your time on going to see it The only good memories i will take away from this trip is the restaurants (gordan ramsey Bread street and the Crab restaurant were very impressive and although a little pricey was well worth it. I only wish i could say the same thing about the Atlantis Hotel. worth the high price that they say is too experience a luxury experience. Finally we had a very late flight and asked for a late chjeck out and all they could do is offer half/day fee (2500rmb) to stay till 6pm. I have stayed many times at Atlantis Paradise Island; this is just as good, if not better because it is newer. Love the spacious room with under-the-sea view, and all the dining choices.
