Turkish hidden spots✨🫣
It's a nice, one these Turkish spots with markets, stores with a lot of colorful details, souvenirs, overpriced restaurants and colorful umbrellas. The place looks very nice, love all the various craft stores, colorful decorations even while everyone keeps inviting you in everywhere and calling you all the time.

Avanos, a city with a great atmosphere. Entrance to the old town.
Avanos. This is the entrance to the old town, and the atmosphere here itself is good.
There is a coffee souvenir shop at the entrance, so it was nice to walk around and look around.
The view was pretty even when I entered from the entrance to the old town and looked toward the mosque. Avanos has a different atmosphere from Goreme, so I stopped by on a day trip and was satisfied.

Turkey's Avanos Pottery Village is cute and fun!
Travel across the Eurasian continent from Antalya, Turkey ✈️ Goreme 🚌 Avanos. From the coast to the inland, the karst landform of Goreme is full of magical colors, like a fairy tale and romantic.
🌸 Transportation
There are minibuses from Kayseri Airport to Goreme, which takes about 1 hour. You can book a pick-up service with the homestay you booked. Pay in euros or Turkish lira, and pay the driver in cash.
From Goreme to Avanos Pottery Village, you can take a minibus at the station at the entrance of Goreme Town, which takes about half an hour. You can only pay in cash.
🌸 Pottery Village
The village is not big, but there are many local ceramic crafts. It's a cute and fun place.
The owner of one shop is an artist. The ceramics are all made by him and his studio. He also offered me his homemade wine, which was delicious.
Turkish wine is not exported, so you can only drink it locally. It's a national treasure. If you have the chance to visit the pottery village, you can visit his shop and have some wine.
