[Tokushima/Hyogo] From blue skies to sunsets! A whirlwind trip to enjoy the islands♪
#DomesticTravelRecord
I crossed the bridge connecting Hyogo Prefecture and Tokushima Prefecture and enjoyed a whirlwind island trip♪
First, I drove from Honshu to Awajishima across the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge.
While enjoying the blue sky and sea from the car window, I crossed the Naruto Kaikyo Bridge and landed in Tokushima Prefecture!
I immediately went to the confectionery workshop "French Monster Setouchi Food Art".
It opened in 2020 and offers cute cakes and drinks that look great. And above all, the location is the best! The shop is located at a scenic point at the top of Shimada Island, Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture, so you can enjoy the view of the sea and mountains from the inside and terrace.
📍Location: 9 Nakashimada Higashiyama, Seto-cho, Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture
The next place I went to was "Live Fish Cuisine Bimbiya", where there is a long line at lunchtime.
Wow! It's a long line as expected.
I don't know about weekdays, but it seems that you have to line up on weekends.
There were a lot of big fish, including sea bream, swimming in the fish tank in front of the restaurant.
I had the flatfish sashimi set meal. It was delicious with plenty of fin.
📍Location: 20-2 Awata Hashikadani, Kitanada-cho, Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture
After filling my stomach, I made a U-turn to Awaji Island.
I headed to Myojin Cape, which I wanted to visit before the sun went down.
This place is said to be a hidden power spot on Awaji Island, and there is an observation deck where you can get a panoramic view of the magnificent ocean. Especially at dusk, you can see the beautiful orange and pink sunset that has been selected as one of the 100 best sunsets in Japan. I had this view all to myself from the observation deck! It was really amazing♪
📍Location: Myojin, Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture
Then, on the way back to Honshu, I stopped by the cafe "Lazy Inn." and enjoyed some delicious sweets♪
The sunset from the second floor of the shop was also attractive!
It's also nice to enjoy Awaji beer!
📍Location: 2623-3 Ei, Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture
From start to finish, it was a relaxing island trip with a spectacular location♡
