A list of Zengcheng's best forest parks for hiking🌳
Perfect for weekend hikes☘️
Here are 5 mountains⛰️, all relatively easy to climb.
I took my kids to 3 of them last month.
·
1. Baijianghu Forest Park
📍Location: Search for "Baijianghu Forest Park Parking Lot" on your map app.
🎫Tickets: CNY 10❗Free parking, plenty of spaces available.
🕑Time required: 3 hrs uphill, 2 hrs downhill, mostly steps, sightseeing buses available❗
🌊Features: Five main areas: water play area, waterfall area, beach area, lakeside area, and flower valley. The waterfalls along the way are a highlight, and Baijianghu Lake at the summit looks like a green gemstone. It's stunning, often called "Little Jiuzhaigou"! The ultimate hiking and stream-tracing spot in Guangzhou, also great for kids to play in the water. If you don't want to hike, you can camp, paddle, or swim in the stream, which is just a 15-minute walk away! Suitable for all seasons, a must-visit in summer!

There's a tea garden at the foot of the mountain, plenty of shade on the way up, and bauhinia and bougainvillea everywhere. There's even a cherry blossom valley, a bald cypress forest, and a lychee orchard!
