Take subur
Take suburb tramcar of Iyomishima "Takahama station - Yokokawara Line" to the station before terminal of Takahama station. Only 17 mins, you can get here from the downtown of Matsuyama. Here you can find a billboard that reads the shooting location of Tokyo Love Story. This station is experienced. And, it is tranquil and casual, never inferior to Shimonada.

Cheap Japan Travel Itinerary ✈️
Hong Kong ➡️Hiroshima air tickets are very cheap!
Don’t just travel in the crowded Tokyo.
Why not take a scenic route🏞️!!
Recommended route: Hiroshima and the surrounding islands
🌅 Hiroshima
The beauty of Hiroshima is intoxicating, especially Miyajima. Starting from Hiroshima, take the JR Nishi-Miyajima Ferry and you will reach this quiet and mysterious island in just over ten minutes. When you arrive at Miyajima Port, the first thing that catches your eye is the magnificent Itsukushima Shrine. The vermilion torii and the azure Seto Inland Sea complement each other beautifully. There are many cute deer on the island. They are gentle and friendly, making people want to get close to them.
🎨 Onomichi
Next, we came to Onomichi, a small town full of literary and artistic atmosphere. Senkoji Temple is built on the mountain. Standing on the temple, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of the island. Walk along the narrow cat path, take a leisurely stroll, and feel the peaceful atmosphere. The Onomichi Museum of Art allows you to immerse yourself in a sea of art, while cycling on the Shimanami Kaido offers scenery that is like a scene from a movie, allowing you to enjoy the freedom of the wind and the sea.
🌀Matsuyama
Matsuyama seems like a dreamland that came out of a Hayao Miyazaki movie. At the main building of Dogo Onsen, you can encounter Yubaba's bathhouse, which makes you feel the warmth of a fairy tale. Taking the seaside train to Shimonada Station is like entering the world of Spirited Away. There is also the Umezuji Station, a pilgrimage site for Toei fans, which is unforgettable.
🌸 Takamatsu
Choose Takamatsu on the return trip, it is a healing place that cannot be refused. Take a stroll in the secret world of Ritsurin Garden to calm your mind, get away from the busy life, and enjoy this moment of tranquility.
In these beautiful places, every moment is a memory worth cherishing. Let's embark on this journey together and feel the charm of Japan! ✈️✨

It's raining
I was worried because I had a child on a rainy day, but I had fun riding the train and looking at the rainy sea.

The filming location of the Japanese drama, Matsuyama City, is very close to the seaside check-in station.
The filming location of the Japanese drama 'Tokyo Love Story'
Iyo Railway Umetsuji Station.
Also located in Ehime Prefecture, Shikoku, but it feels no less than Shimonada Station.
Moreover, compared to Shimonada Station, the platform is closer to the sea.
Besides the sea, there are mountains as a backdrop.
The best part is that there are no people! No need to compete with others for photo spots.
It's also easy to get to, with more frequent trains than JR Shimonada!
Coincidentally, it's also facing west, making it perfect for watching the sunset.
Nearby, there is Umetsuji Park and Citrus Park, which you can visit together.
You can take photos while coming and going.
It's only about twenty minutes from Matsuyama City Station, just get off at Iyo Railway Takahama Line.
