But be careful not to get too close to the cliff edge when taking photos! 2️⃣ About 6KM from the scenic area on National Highway G312: There is a fork with a white house. The dirt road on the left leads to the mining area. There’s also a delightful children's night light with soft lighting that gives the little ones a strong sense of security. The hotel also has a dedicated tea bar where you can relax and enjoy tea. A pleasant surprise is the free ice cream, which made the kids very happy. 🍳 Breakfast experience: The breakfast selection is quite rich, and the layered pancakes are amazing—crispy on the outside and tender inside. My child and I enjoyed several pieces. However, there was a mistake in the morning staff’s headcount, so breakfast portions were not replenished promptly. Today, I want to share a niche lake recommended by locals during our trip to Jinghe, Xinjiang. Apart from locals, you won't see many tourists here, and it's free!! It's perfect for self-driving tours in Xinjiang!! It is: Jinghe Bayin Amun Scenic Area 4, locals call it Da Xiao Haizi (Big and Small Lakes). We set off in the morning and followed the navigation all the way to Bayin Amun Scenic Area. As we were about to arrive, we encountered a fork in the road, and there was a sign pointing to Da Xiao Haizi. Following the direction of the sign for about ten minutes, after registering at the forest fire prevention checkpoint, you can enter the scenic area. The first lake you encounter in the scenic area is Xiao Haizi (Small Lake), which is on the right-hand side of the checkpoint. The lake is not big, but it is very beautiful. When we went, the weather was nice, and the lake water sparkled under the sunlight, like a sapphire~ On the opposite side of the lake, there are stone pillars rising from the ground with very unique shapes. In the depths of Jinghe County, Bortala, there is a secret realm called Winter Capital Jing. The overall departure into the mountain is about 50 kilometers, but the road conditions are basically considered to dismantle the car. The special thing about this route is that it includes all the landforms of Yardang, Gobi, Snow Mountain, Forest, and Lake. The cattle and sheep in the Gobi Desert in early autumn are fat and beautiful, the leaves on the river beach are gradually yellowing, and the ice mountain melting water is clear and transparent. Driving into the depths to the sacred lake that the local Mongols respect very much, there are also Buddha statues enshrined here. It is said that this sacred lake will gush out water from the ground on its own on June 15th every year, and gradually dry up on September 15th. It's a very magical place.
