BANGUI WINDMILLS: one of the best
Aside from an energy resource, these windmills serve as attractions to both local and international tourists. Photoshoots happen here as well as it is undeniable that the location and spot is picturesque.
If you happen to be in Ilocos, give a quick stop-over to pose and shoot here. It’s definitely worth the time. 🤗💙 #tripblazers #mytripvlog #philippines #ilocostravel #windmills #beachlife #bucketlistreboot #celebratewithtrip

Bangui Windmills
Getting There - There is no direct bus, best accessible by own transport
Attractions - The sight of the 70-meter high Windmills
Hotels - No hotels at location
Food & Restaurants - Snacks stalls located at the entrance.
Shopping - Souveniers stalls located at the entrance
The Bangui Wind Farm is a popular stop for many people to take some stunning photos. 20 units of 70-meter high windmills alongside Bangui Bay will provide sceneries you'd want to capture for a lifetime.
The Bangui Wind Farm is located all the way at the northwestern tip of Philippines' Luzon Island, in the Province of Ilocos Norte. The windmills form a gracefully shaped arc that reflect the shoreline alongside Bangui Bay, and face the West Philippine Sea.
Due to Ilocos' location between the Pacific Ocean and the South China Sea, the province tends to have more wind than most others in the Philippines. This makes for just a great place for one of Southeast Asian's biggest wind farms. In fact it was the biggest until the Burgos Wind Farm took the title in the year 2014.
Aside from learning about the specifics and history of the Bangui Windmills; you most likelylo want to go there to take some swell pictures to keep and share. Best to go during the daytime as the windmills are not lighted at night.
You can even ride horses for 100 PHP and several souvenir stalls are aligned at the entrance where you can buy some souvenirs like little windmills. You also have the opportunity to drink and eat some at the entrance of the site; so for your day trip through Ilocos Norte, you can happily spend one or two hours at this particular touristic attraction.

Breezy and bright life change begins in Bangui
Nowhere else in the Philippines can you breathe as magically as in this shore, right at the foot of the breathtaking windmills in Bangui Bay. The sun is out, but the clouds are thicker and the wind cooler, making it feel almost impossible to imagine you're still in the same tropical country.
It doesn't matter how many times I have been here. Every time I see these massive windmills, they leave me in awe. Their power and grandeur is truly a sight. When you see them line up in a row adjacent to the beach it's truly a sight to see. I didn't know that Philippines had the first windmill in Southeast Asia, making this a historical sight too. There were no fees to pay. You literally drive there at your own leisure. It's very hot there though since there is no shade.
Although the shores can bring feelings out of nowhere, the water is not good enough to swim, though. You can get swept away by the crashing and chaotic waves, just like most of the shores lining up north of Ilocos, but it is refreshing as you sit closer to the water.
Having to spend a breezy afternoon here reminded me of a few words from Robert Louis Stevenson when he talked about windmills and love, as quoted, "here are, indeed, few merrier spectacles than that of many windmills bickering together in a fresh breeze over a woody country; their halting alacrity of movement, their pleasant business, making bread all day with uncouth gesticulation; their air, gigantically human, as of a creature half alive, put a spirit of romance into the tamest landscape." Ah, life. If your day feels gloomy and you happen to be near Ilocos, let's drive around the town here and don't forget to visit Bangui, where it's always, always a windy day.
Bangui windmills is the ultimate, not-to-miss destination in Ilocos Norte, here in the northernmost part of the Philippines. It has a breathtaking view and the sounds of the waves coming from the beach. It was really fun to visit here because it has fresh air and the souvenirs were made by the locals.

Bangui Wind Farm
Unbelievable!!! A farm of windmills??!🤩 Yeah its true, there is also a farm of windmills arranged in a single row stretching along a 9-kilometer😍 (5.6 mi) shoreline off Bangui Bay, Bangui Ilocos Norte, facing the West Philippine Sea. I cant count them all because it is hundreds for sure. Along sa national highway, there are already some, others are on top of the mountains, and most are along the seashore. You have really to stop over on this place, take some incredible photos and selfies. Since this is a local area, dont expect exclusive restaurant and shopping areas, but there are some small cafe nipa hut store, and there are local people along the road selling souvenirs lookalike of the windmill, buy some as appreaciation of theit hardwork handcrafts. Another reminder, you can also picnic along the seashore, just bring food as a requirement of a road trip, and of course a water or any drinks because there is no 24 hours stores along the road. Enjoy the view and safe drive!

Breathtaking Windmills in Pagudpud🇵🇭
#timetotravel
This is a windmill farm in Ilocos that is worth seeing. You will definitely see this while you are on the way to Ilocos. Actually there are a few places to view the windmills but Bangui wiidmills are located by the sea so it gives that picturesque and amazing views both of the windmills and the beach. Just a heads up, when the weather is good then the temperature gets really hot so make sure you have your sunscreen with you. There is a minimal fee or donation coz it is really cheap, it is about 10-30 pesos, I mean, they need it to maintain the place so I encourage you to do it. It is just amazing to learn that these windmills are the main provider of electricity in the region just wow! Enjoy your trip!
