If I had to pick one building on the HK skyline as my favourite it would be the Bank of China Tower in Central Hong Kong. You can get here by tram or walk from Central MTR station. The design of this building looks incredible at night when its triangular shape lights come on. The lights are animated and zig zag up and down the building. To get this shot you need to stand on the ground underneath the footbridge across the road next to the Cheung Kong Centre. You will need a wide angle lens somewhere between 12-16mm for the best effect. Bring a tripod to shoot the light trails of the cars driving by, use a slow shutter speed around 3-4 seconds for best results. Hong Kong is famous for its skyline and most of its iconic skyscrapers are centred around Admiralty - and one of the best places to appreciate them is Hong Kong Park. This green oasis stretches from admiralty station to the base of the peak tram and offered a substantial area of green space in the financial hub - something quite rare in a city with such expensive real estate. On the outskirts of the Park you have an old fire station, countless sky scrappers and great spots to take photos of the bustling tram routes. Seeing it from a distance gives you a feeling of wonder and another, more refined feeling. This Hong Kong landmark can be appreciated slowly and carefully, especially when night falls and the lights are turned on, which is part of the charm of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong street photography, Central's three-piece suit, Jardine's Crescent and Pottinger Street and surrounding areas, Wellington Street, Mong Kok, are all places where I often go for street photography. This time, I went to Hong Kong Central to watch the music festival and brought my camera to wander around the streets and alleys of Central for three consecutive days to take photos and do street photography. 1⃣Jiaxiang Street, Botianzha Street and surrounding areas Pottinger Street is a classic old street in Hong Kong. Blocks of stone slabs are laid out in steps from Connaught Road to Hollywood Road. Walking on the uneven stone road, there are vintage shops and wild murals on both sides, creating an indescribable harmony. When doing street photography, I usually use a medium zoom lens 27-70 or a telephoto lens 70-200, set the camera to manual mode, adjust the composition to the appropriate focal length, and capture light and shadow with the telephoto lens in low light. The contrast between light and dark is clear, making the image more story-like. Tips: Navigate with a map to God Hollywood Road, where both sides are Jiaxiang Street. In front of Jiaxiang Street is Pottinger Street. 2⃣Central Loop three-piece set Use a wide-angle lens for shooting the Central Ring Road three-piece set, place the camera at a low angle and adjust the composition, stabilize it with a tripod, and take a shot in one second. Even when zoomed in, the details are clear. Portrait mode can also be set. Tips: Take the MTR to Admiralty Station and exit at Exit B for the Central Three-piece Set, but in fact, it is more convenient to get there by crossing the pedestrian bridge at Central Station.
