The second stop of the girls' post-Chinese New Year trip - Hefei | A complete guide 📖1️⃣Day1: Ancient Xiaoyaojin - Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street We arrived in Hefei in the evening and went to Guxiaoyaojin to see the lanterns first. There was a fee to enter the lantern garden. Apart from that there was only a statue, few people and no shops were open. The second stop is Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street, which is similar to other pedestrian streets. You can buy some freshly baked Zhan’s peach cakes. The Hefei limited edition seems to be black tea flavor, but it only comes in exquisite packaging. I searched and found it, but I didn’t buy it on the spot. 2️⃣Day2: Bao Gong Temple-Sanhe Ancient Town The Bao Gong Temple mainly introduces the life of Bao Gong, and also has some Hui-style bridges and buildings. Sanhe Ancient Town is quite far from the city center. We went there when we drove out of Hefei, so public transportation might not be very convenient. Before I came here, I actually had very low expectations for it, thinking it was just a commercial town, but after I got here, it exceeded my expectations. If you have time and are on your way, you can come and have a look. There are a large concentration of Hui-style buildings here, including "small bridges, flowing water and houses" and historical sites. Although it has been renovated, it still has quite a bit of charm. In the first year of the Hongzhi era (1488), the governor of Luzhou, Song Jian, built the Bao Gong Academy here, which gradually evolved into the Bao Gong Temple. Standing on the Qingfeng Pavilion and overlooking the entire Baohe Park, one can almost feel Bao Zheng's righteous spirit and his overwhelming presence that purifies the world.
