Ba People River Scenic Area (4A) is located on National Highway 209 from Badong to Yesanguan. Although there are shuttle buses in Badong County, they are not very convenient, so it is best to drive there. 300 meters into the scenic area is Lover's Peak (Figure 1), the highest point in the area. Actually, there are not many steps (Figure 2), and you can enjoy a panoramic view from there. After returning to the trail, continue downhill on Route A (outdoor adventure type). Although it is downhill all the way, it still takes one or two hours. Along the way, there are developed slides and zip lines that you can play on or use for assistance. Walk along the Ba People River plank road for about 30 minutes to exit the scenic area. This route is more suitable for young tourists. Route B (leisure type) exits the scenic area by taking a shuttle bus through the winding mountain road to the valley bottom, where you switch to an electric car to the Luoxinlou Service Center. Walk along the flat plank road of Ba People River inward, and you can return the same way depending on your physical strength. The scenic area features canyon scenery, and it is cool and not hot in summer. Across the Wind and Rain Bridge (Figure 8) is Longyin Palace, where the cave is cool and comfortable, and the scenery is beautiful. Due to inconvenient transportation, there are not many tourists (and parking is free). If you want to stay overnight, there are local farmhouses and homestays to choose from (Figure 16).
