Yokohama is a city with many things to see, and the night view is one of them. I enjoyed walking around Bashamichi and the night view. Looking out from Yamashita Park at Yokohama Landmark Tower and Cosmo Rock, the buildings were shining gold~✨ Also, the building itself of "Anniversaire Cafe," with its red roof and terrace seats like a street corner in Paris, is beautiful, but the way the lights of the building reflected on the water was also beautiful✨You can also see the night view of Minato Mirai Yokohama from the terrace seats. #travelchecklist #100waysoftravel One of my travel checklist while visiting Yokohama is to have a full Unagi course, and I managed to fulfill it by visiting this lavish restaurant called Unazou Shinryuu Bashamichi. From the moment you enter the store you will be stunned by the lavish decorations of dragons, and you see the statue of a big dragon on tje ceiling to the ground until it stretches to the VIP room. I ordered a full 7 course of Unagi meal, and it is so satisfying as they used seasonal material to prepare their dishes. Since it is autumn season you see dishes made of sweet potatoes, yam, chestnut, and seasonal seafood such as snapper and red prawns. Finally, I was served the Unagi rice bowl using 3 quarter of the eel, which made me so full and satisfying. The price for the full meal is 9900yen which is at the high side, but you wont regret paying for such an excellent meal. I will definitely come again. #cherryblossom2024 Ramen is well enjoyed by many local Japanese and tourists alike, and what I like most about Ramen is the thick pork bone broth with piping hot noodles simmering in it. This shop in Yokohama, called Ramen Kichiya serves an excellent bowl of Ramen noodles. There are 3 choices, namely the shoyu, salt and miso ramen, and you can opt to upgrade your noodles with more pork slices, hard boiled egg and seaweed. I have also added fried pot sticker dumplimgs to complete my meal. The Ramen tastes so well that I cant stop slurping them until eveeyyhing is down till the last drop of soup. As usual, this will be my routine yo habe wen I visit Yokohama.

#fallishere While touring Yokohama during fall season, we came across this old vintage style restaurant setting serving Teppanyaki menu. There is a wide range of courses to be chosen, and we chose a Kobe beef set, featuring A5 Wagyu beef from Hyogo. It is an 8 course meal serving food from appetizer, soup, seafood, steak to dessert. The chef will explain the source of the materials and the name of the dishes, and every dishes will be served in order. The ingredients are very fresh, prepared carefully and you can literally enjoy the old vintage style ambience. After meal, you will be escorted to a lounge where tea/coffee and dessert will be served. It is indeed a wonderful Teppanyaki experience.
