One minute it was raining, the next was sunny. We weren't sure what to make of it. Therefore if you are going to Belgium in September, be prepared for unexpected rain! We walked around town exploring without a set goal in mind. We saw Belfry of Bruges (very beautiful building)#myhiddengems , the church called Church of Our Lady, another church called Basilica of the Holy Blood, and lots of shops with Belgium chocolates. 😋 I recommend the trip only if you have not much to do and wonder where else you could go. It’s a very chilly and rainy morning but we still made it to the city of Bruges! There’s a long walk of beautiful greeneries before you can actually reach Bruge. And before that, there’s the Lovers’ Bridge! Bruge itself is a huge circle, so it’s easy to walk anywhere. It has many canals here lined up with medieval houses and it’s also dubbed as the “Venice of the North”.
