Battleship Iowa Museum is a must-see for military fans
I have always been keen on various battleship museums. This time I came to visit the USS Iowa in Los Angeles‼ I've been here before during Fleet week, but there were too many people so I didn't go in. This time I came mid-week and there weren't many people so I just wandered around a battleship. The USS IOWA Battleship (BB 61) was built by the U.S. Navy in the late 1930s. It was a 45,000-ton-displacement, 1⃣-class battleship. It served for nearly 50 years and had powerful firepower and high speed. At the request of President Franklin, it became the only warship with a bathtub.
The battleship is now docked in the port of Long Beach, with most of the items preserved inside. Visitors can follow the arrows on the ground to walk around the entire battleship. The entire tour is divided into three floors on the ship and two floors below. The upper three floors are mainly the military equipment of the warship⛓ and the daily life area of the navy💈, while the lower two floors are the history of the warship📖
