Taman MIni Indonesia Indah [TMII] - Taman Mini Indonesia Indah Jakarta
I visited this place for the first time on my trip to Jakarta.
It took about 40 minutes by Grab from the city center to get there.
The park is quite large, so if you want to explore it thoroughly, you should allow at least half a day for it.
There are many attractions, including a zoo, aquarium, art museum, and Balinese-style buildings.
Tickets can be purchased at the entrance, but cash payments are not accepted, and it is recommended to purchase tickets online in advance to ensure smooth entry.
In addition, tickets must be purchased separately at the entrance to each facility (ranging from IDR 10,000 to 100,000).
The park was very crowded with locals.
I walked everywhere, so it was a good workout, but it seems that bicycles and carts are also available for rental, so you may want to use those.
It was very hot, so I bought water frequently from vending machines and shops to stay hydrated.
There is a beautiful souvenir shop near the entrance, so you can look for something to commemorate the occasion.
If you come to Jakarta, it would be worth planning this as one of your tourist spots.
You can enjoy the culture of Indonesia, including traditional buildings, batik, the national animal Komodo dragon, cannons and castles.
It is very satisfying, and I think it is also worth visiting for a walk or picnic on the weekend.
