[2025 Beijing Airports] Travel Guide for Beijing Capital International Airport (Updated May)

This trip was a flight experience from Tokyo Haneda to Bangkok, Thailand via Beijing on Air China. Below are the details of each flight and transit. ⸻ Flight 1: Tokyo Haneda to Beijing (CA182) First, CA182 from Tokyo Haneda was a spacious A330 aircraft. The seats were new, the space was comfortable, and the in-flight entertainment system was also excellent! 🎬 I was able to enjoy many movies, and the time during the flight flew by. In addition, there was an in-flight LAN service, so I was able to enjoy various content such as the latest movies and music 📱. The in-flight meal was very delicious, and on the first flight I chose "Yu Xiang Rou Si". It is a nice point that you can enjoy delicious Chinese food during the flight with a rich flavor unique to China 🍽️. ⸻ Transit in Beijing In Beijing, the transfer at T3 terminal was very smooth. There was no need to collect my baggage, so I immediately followed the staff's instructions and the signs to the gate for my next flight. I presented my travel documents and the ticket for my next flight and went through security again. There was plenty of time to wait, so I also had time to enjoy shopping at the duty-free shop🛍️. ⸻ Flight 2: Beijing to Bangkok (CA979) The next flight, CA979 from Beijing to Bangkok, was also a comfortable flight on a spacious A330 aircraft. I enjoyed the new seats, the in-flight entertainment system, and the continued use of the in-flight LAN service🎵. On this flight, I chose "Sichuan Feng Shui Braised Beef". This was also an authentic Chinese dish, and the rich flavor made for a luxurious moment during the flight🍜. ⸻ Overall rating Overall, Air China's flights were very cost-effective and provided a comfortable air journey😊. The great thing about this flight is that it is reasonably priced at under 20,000 yen, and offers generous baggage allowance, in-flight meals, and free entertainment. #GetDiscountNotRelyingOnLuck ReviewBeijing Capital International Airport After getting off the plane, follow the arrivals sign and you will see a fingerprint scanner on the left. There are a lot of lines. Press start, insert your passport, and the machine will speak Thai to you. Then follow the steps. On the opposite side of the machine, there will be a table for filling out an entry form. They don't hand it out on the plane (Air China doesn't hand it out, but TG does). It's easy to fill out and doesn't ask many questions. I recommend taking it to the immigration line to fill it out because the immigration line is very long. Continue walking along the path and you will see immigration on the left. Our plane landed early, the line was long + only 5 channels were open and it was slow. Just waiting here took more than an hour (the line was much shorter than in Japan and Singapore, but much slower). After going through immigration, you will see a small train station connecting the terminals. The plane landed at T3E. We had to take it to T3C to get our bags. When you get off the train and walk out, you will see the baggage carousel. There is no big screen here showing the flights of each carousel. You have to walk around and look for it yourself. Usually, there will be a screen showing the flight that you are landing on and which carousel your bags are leaving from. After getting your bags, you will go through the scanner. This is very fast. The total time from landing to arrival is about 1.45 hours. After this, choose a convenient way to enter the city. It is easy to use the airport express train or taxi. Follow the signs. If you call Didi for T3, go to the 1st floor, T2 to wait in the parking building because there is no parking lot that can be called online. You should also tell the driver clearly where you are waiting. For the airport express train, follow the signs (same floor). They are in different buildings. Exit the baggage claim area, walk to the left, there will be a walkway to another building. Go through the building door, walk diagonally to the right. In front of the entrance, there is an automatic ticket machine and a room to sell Yikatong top-up cards (used in Beijing), TU Card (or Hutong Card, usable nationwide, but can only be topped up in Beijing). The train fare is ¥25. Get off at Dongzhimen or Beixinqiao Station, depending on which station you change to. That's the end of the review.

Air China Business Class Boarding Report 2 (Short-haul) Airbus A330 Beijing → Osaka Transiting at Beijing Capital International Airport, which has a bad reputation online. As with the long-haul flight from Frankfurt to Beijing, the flight attendants' service was good, and the cabin and atmosphere were calm. I was on a layover in Beijing and after visiting The civil aviation museum I still had a plenty amount of time till my flight to Khabarovsk. So I discovered to go for a Plane spotting at Beijing capital international airport (IATA: PEK & OACI: ZBAA). i did a “little” research on the internet on my way back to the airport from the museum, and learned that there is a bridge called Hangkong Bridge next to T1 and T2 which is taking you from T2 to Lihao hotel. So, All you have to do is just walk from T2 to the bridge or as an alternate you can take a taxi to Lihao hotel and then walk from there 🙃 P.S. from this location you’ll not be able to see landing 🛬 also it’s not the best location for takeoff 🛫 But you’ll be able to see all the traffic passing the bridge to and from RW36L 😉 There is a sidewalk on the bridge so you don’t have to worry about your safety 😉 #passionpassport #aviation #aviationlove #aviationspotter #airport #airplane #plane #planespotting #pek #beijingairport #beijing

After getting out of security and passport and boarding pass checking. Get down 1 floor using escalator. You will see a cafe and a Chinese pavilion nearby. Just walk straight along the way between these two landmarks. until you find a glass firehouse with a map on it, simultaneously you will heard the sound of a water flow. Then walk further a bit you will find a fountain with a white big Beijing stand. The elevators assigned specifically to get you down to the lounge are behind them. Hope this helps. In the lounge area, there are plain water, soft drink, coffee machine, instant noodle cup, snacks sandwich, and bun. There's no rice, sausage, etc. You can charge your devices with usb cable otherwise you need a Chinese socket adapter.
