It started to become popular. Shooting time: October 23 last year, it was late autumn and some red leaves began to fall. Shooting location: Jinhai Lake North Mountain Trail The hiking trail has wooden handrails and is easy to walk, suitable for the whole family. Estimated viewing period this year: This weekend to early November √Navigation: Sanquan Temple parking lot, where there is the only toilet. Hiking route: The hiking trail goes very far north, so we will only take the essential small loop. Small loop route: Follow the sign at the entrance of Pingji Road in the direction of Huangcaowa. Follow Pingji Road out of the Sanquan Temple parking lot. Basically, turn right at all the forks in the road and make a circle. There is a section of cement road at the entrance and exit of the mountain climbing, so please pay attention to safety. Cover shooting position: It is not on the fixed route of the trail and requires passing through a small forest to reach it. If you need it, please contact me and I’ll see if I can find it. #localescapes We had a roadtrip to Pinggu for a weekend. It’s at the far east of Beijing. We found a small cost home stay near Jinhai lake. 🧺 We had a picnic by the lake the day we arrived. You can actually rent tents, tables and chairs on the spot however we brought our own stuff and then you can hang for free. ⛵️the lake is amazing and you can rent different kind of boats, kayaks and SUP. 🏎️ we tried Go-Karting down one of the mountains. It's very convenient to drive there. This place is really great👏! There are very few people, and there were almost no people when I went there. When I climbed to the top of the mountain and saw the whole lake, I was shocked! It's not a scenic spot, so parking is free, and no tickets are required. You can also bring your pets🐶. The whole journey is not difficult, and the elderly and children can walk. 📝The hiking route is from Donggedong to the old site of Banshan Pavilion, and the scenery along the way is super beautiful. You can navigate to Nanhua Villa, and you will see a sign that says Wisteria, which is the entrance. You can park your car under the sign. Walk for about 10 minutes, and you will see a sign for the entrance to the mountain on the right. I only walked along the lake, which is about 2 km back and forth. It took me 4 hours to walk and take photos, and it should take 1.5 hours if you walk fast. There is a low stone plank road on the mountain and a flat hard mud road by the lake. We set out late and arrived at about 10:30. It starts with a slow climb, passing through several platforms along the way, each of which can be checked in, but there are too many people. People are taking photos on the sides of the platforms, people are sitting down in the middle to replenish supplies, and there is a traffic jam at the exits of the platforms, so people have to walk slowly one by one. Then we went down the slope to the lake, mostly to take photos or have a meal. The shore was muddy and the ice didn't look solid, so we definitely couldn't stand on it. We walked along the shore, with a cliff next to us. Fortunately, the road was quite wide, especially the protruding boulder in the middle of the lake, which was a must-see. Then we started another round of climbing to the north, up and down to the Sawtooth Cliff. We were not blocked, the pier extended into the lake, and there was red grass on the shore.
