The hotel is conveniently located near Beppu Station, just a 3-minute walk from the station to the onsen hotel. The overall decor of the hotel is minimalist Japanese style with warm colors that give a cozy feeling. The hotel offers breakfast and dinner options, which can be chosen according to your preferences. I believe the breakfast offers good value for money and is worth trying. To the main point, the hotel's onsen is divided into public baths and private baths. The public baths are separated into male and female sections, while the private baths consist of eight different styled private baths. Among them, the Myoban and Horita private baths have whiter water and higher temperatures, which are recommended for those who prefer hotter baths. After soaking, the hotel provides massage services, karaoke, and a reading area. Additionally, at different times, free ice pops and probiotics are available. The rooftop offers a beautiful view of the entire Beppu city. Note: The beds in the rooms are moderately firm, leaning towards the firmer side, which I personally find to be good for the back.

I was thinking of getting up early to take a private bath in the hotel's attic, but as soon as I stepped into the attic lounge, a picture of the first appearance of the morning light was imprinted in my eyes. I didn't remember to take a bath until the sun rose😝 After breakfast, we started a series of Beppu trips, to tell the truth 🫢 Before leaving, I was worried that Beppu is a very dull city, except hell is hell 😅, but after two days of bus trip, found Beppu in addition to hell, there are many attractions for you to discover. First we went to the must-see Sea Hell, then went to Beppu Hell Museum, but we did not visit, but went to eat a quite good pasta lunch; By the next morning, continue to use the bus ticket to the air cable car terminal, once you arrive at the ticket office to see the cat stationmaster breakfast, plump and cute; after 10 minutes of cable car journey, on the way to the observation deck still saw a lot of snow, great for photography 👍🏻 If you are heading to Beppu for a tour, remember to buy a one- or two-day bus ticket, it really helps you a lot, in addition to convenient to the attractions, it is good to go for a ride 😊

During my trip to Oita, I stayed at a slightly more luxurious hotel in the Dormy Inn chain. On the top floor (13th floor), there was a large natural hot spring bath for men and women, and seven private baths. The appeal is that you can use all of the baths in the "Beppu Hatto" hot springs in Beppu. The large bath and sauna are nice, but the private baths are first come, first served, so you can use whichever one you like if it's available, and it's convenient that you don't have to make a reservation. I think this is the only hotel where you can enjoy such a wide variety of hot springs, including silky, viscous, and beautiful blue waters. It was a great experience. I was also happy that the shower head and hair dryer were Refa. The staff were very nice, there were so many different services, and the building was clean, so I would like to use it again when I travel to Oita. A 5-minute walk from Beppu Station, the location is excellent, and it's a newly opened hotel at the end of 2023, with exceptionally clean interiors. The hotel has public baths for men and women, as well as 7 private baths that are available without a lock. Dormy Inn typically offers free ramen at night, ice cream desserts at the hot spring floor in the evening, Yakult in the morning, and even 3 massage chairs on the hot spring floor for use at no charge! They are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and if someone is using them, you can queue up, as the hotel recommends a 15-minute usage time to give the next guest a turn. Breakfast is another highlight, with all-you-can-eat fish roe. If you don't want to have raw fish on rice, you can try making your own fish roe toast!
