Colorful houses stood in picturesque disorder, their walls covered with green vines, adding vitality to the town. Local residents bustled about, their faces beaming with simple smiles. I entered a small cafe, ordered a cup of strong Vietnamese coffee, and sat by the window, quietly observing the city's life. The aroma of coffee filled the air, mingling with the sound of waves from outside, creating a refreshing atmosphere. In the afternoon, I visited Vung Tau's landmark attraction, the Christ of Vung Tau statue. This magnificent statue stands on a mountain, overlooking the entire city and the sea. I slowly ascended the steps, admiring the scenery along the way. Reaching the top, the view before me was breathtaking. The entire city of Vung Tau was in full view: the blue sea, the golden beach, the green vegetation, and the scattered buildings formed a picturesque scene. The sea breeze brushed my face, bringing a touch of coolness, and I was immersed in this boundless beauty. In the evening, the afterglow of the setting sun painted the sky golden. I went to a seaside restaurant, sat at an outdoor table, and savored the local cuisine. Fresh seafood paired with unique Vietnamese spices created an extremely delicious taste. As I watched the sun slowly set and disappear below the horizon, my heart was filled with reluctance. The coastal road here is clean and scenic, with the blue sea on one side and mountains on the other. Though small, Vung Tau offers plenty to explore, from its beaches to its rich Southern cuisine. Popular beaches include Thuy Van, Dau, and Dua. Thuy Van beach is the main public swimming area, lined with parks, snack stalls, and plenty of hotels and resorts. For a quieter experience, I prefer Tam Duong beach (Front Beach) with its coconut trees and closer views of ships. This area also offers cafés, souvenir shops, and seafood restaurants. Behind Fusion Suites Hotel, Xom Luoi Market is a must-visit for fresh seafood – a favorite spot where my daughter and I enjoyed picking out live seafood for a custom meal. Location: Vungtau in Vietnam. Getting there: Vungtao city is located 90 minutes on boat from Ho Chi Minh. We stayed in Vung Tau for four nights at the Cao Hotel. There are two beaches in Vung Tao. One is called front beach and one is called back beach. I recommend staying at front beach. Many five star hotels line up here and you have excellent access to the beach. This beach city is cheaper than most in Asia and it's really nice to swim and relax. Even in the winter, it's warm! #vungtau #vietnam

Vung Tau is a small, coastal city in the south of Vietnam. On the edge of the city, walking distance is a hill and on top of the hill is the amusement park. There's a cable car that takes people on top and back. The tickets for the cable car and the amusement park ate bought at the cable car entrance. The park is very cheap and the ticket includes everything inside the park. There's also a big swimming pool, with slides inside the amusement park. People can relax on the chair by the pool. There are some restaurants and snack shops around the park. It's definitely worth seeing one or twice. #rediscovertravel

The accommodation is divided into upper and lower parts by a road, so when making a reservation, I recommend making a reservation for the side near the sea or the side near the pool. Vung Tau is a small town in the south of Vietnam. Getting there is easy by flying to Ho Chi Minh and then taking a VIP bus to Vung Tau. The VIP cars are very comfortable and not expensive. Vung Tau has two main beaches, the front beach and the back beach. The back beach is cleaner and bigger. There's a pot of street food at night and of course a lot of restaurants all over. There's also a possibility of renting a bike and going around town by yourself. There's also a big supermarket, with a movie theater and food court to enjoy in the city.
