[2025 Bintan ] Travel Guide for Bintan Resorts (Updated Apr)

Bintan Island is one of the closest islands to Singapore that is why we have decided to have a short glimpse of this place. From Singapore, we just had a ferry ride for about an hour and arriving at Bintan resort. We only chose 3 destinations since it was just a day trip. Our first destination was Mangrove river sightseeing plus planting of mangrove trees alongside. Second, Bintan sand # dunes with its crystal clear blue lake and the last thing we enjoyed touring around was the vast Bintan resort. There were lots of activities you may enjoy at the resort. Beautiful and affordable pool villa for a romantic getaway. very good service and hve in room massage too. comes with daily in room breakfast. the only set back is - not located at beach front and the Plaza Mall next to it are all mostly closed down. only have 2 massage shops there n 2/3 shops selling essentials. a short walk away to the beach (10min) has a convenient store and 2 restaurants. will definitely come back again for any long weekends. worth the price ! #staycation

Getting There - Ferry to/from Singapore Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal Attractions - Blue Lake and Sand Dunes. Sand dunes that originated from an abandoned mine Hotels - Nirwana Resort Hotel Food & Restaurants - Warung Yeah! Shopping - no shopping at all Insights - when you enter bintan resorts area, the entire area would charge 15% govt taxes on top of all charges, alike VAT or GST. Transport in the area - only can be arranged by the resort or hiring your own driver. Gojek is not available in bintan resorts!
