#australiatrip The Blue Mountains is a must see as it is a quick day trip. Parking situation is tolerable. The walk into the deepest parts of the park with the best views of the waterfalls can be challenging both going up and down. This is a must see you can stand where Queen Elizabeth once stood to view the three sisters, which is a rock formation. Or you can take the time to hike all the way down into the canopy of the forest where it is nice and cool as you cross the waterfalls that start with a trickle, and end up being majestic, you will be rewarded for all your efforts. The entire way is paved with asphalt, but does get a bit challenging as there are large block steps when you start going down into the forest that can be a bit tricky if you have knee or hip issues. This should not dissuade you just be careful and bring a walking stick .

Address 51 Little Switzerland Dr, Wentworth Falls NSW 2782 It's one of the areas in the Blue Mountains, and it's famous as a spot where you can sit on the cliff and take photos. There are no fences, so if you fall, it's over! My legs were shaking, but it wasn't dangerous to just sit and take photos! We arrived around 5pm and enjoyed the sunset! The view was magnificent and the sunset was breathtaking. The nearest station is about an hour's walk away, so we took a taxi! There are no free taxis in the area, so it's recommended to arrange one in advance. It seems that many people take part in tours!

If you are in Sydney for holiday and would want to do something different from the usual shopping and eating. I would strongly suggest heading to the blue mountains, to spend some time with nature and admire it's beauty and natural surroundings. The hike up to blue mountains was not that challenging as there are proper hiking trails. Be amazed with the sandstone ridges and have a great view of the forests, mountains and some waterfalls along the way. The iconic three sisters formation is what everyone would be dying to see after the hike, as it is a world heritage area. Be in awe and get ready to get a good spot to take pictures with the three sisters in the background. Enjoy your hike and have a great time with nature at the blue mountains. #gohiking
