Located on the edge of Xijin Ferry in Zhenjiang, Bo Xian Park is a memorial park built to commemorate the democratic revolutionary martyr Zhao Sheng. Zhao Sheng, also known as Bo Xian, was a native of Dantu, Zhenjiang. He served as the commander-in-chief of the Guangzhou Uprising in the late Qing Dynasty. After the failure of the uprising, Zhao Sheng became ill with grief and died in Hong Kong in 1911. In 1912, Sun Yat-sen posthumously awarded Zhao Sheng the title of General. In 1926, people from all walks of life in Zhenjiang City jointly proposed the establishment of "Bo Xian Park". The four characters "Bo Xian Park" were inscribed by Soong Ching-ling.

Local pioneers of Zhenjiang, the 72 martyrs of Huanghuagang in Guangzhou, Song Qingling wrote the name of the park for him, and the marble inscription is embedded at the gate. 👉 As soon as you enter the gate, a tall bronze statue of Zhao Boxian stands in the square. I climbed up from the Xijin Ferry side. As the name suggests, the park was established to commemorate the democratic revolutionary martyr Zhao Boxian, as it is located on the southeast foothill of Yuntai Mountain to the west of the city. The view from the top is quite impressive I read the introduction, and it was originally built in 1926, initiated by Leng Yuqiu, and opened in June 1931. There are also children's playgrounds, zoos, etc., on both sides. 🌟 Retired J-5A Fighter Jet: Donated to Bo Xian Park by a certain unit of the Nanjing Military Region Air Force in 1985, used for national defense and patriotic education exhibitions. ✅ The park's main gate 'Bo Xian Park' was inscribed by Madame Song Qingling, and on the left is 'Zhao Boxian's Resume' written by Dr. Sun Yat-sen's secretary Tian Huan. Coming out of Xijin Ferry and strolling along the old buildings, you can see the Guangzhao Public Hall with a gate made of ground bricks, with eaves and brick carvings that are very exquisite; there is No. 29 Boxian Road, a brick-wood-stone mixed structure mainly made of red bricks, with Dutch and Belgian classical architectural styles, this building is now called "Tu's House", the owner is Tu Jiahua, the director of the post office of the Nationalist Government of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui. Walking along, there are buildings from the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, each with its own characteristics. Further ahead is Boxian Park. Boxian Park is located at the southeastern foot of Yuntai Mountain in the west of Zhenjiang City. It was built to commemorate the democratic revolutionary martyr Zhao Sheng and is the only memorial park in the city. It was proposed by Leng Yuqiu of the Tongmenghui and designed by Professor Chen Zhi, a garden expert. Construction began in 1926 and was completed and opened in June 1931. The park is built according to the mountain, like a giant armchair, with 28 kinds of ancient trees and famous trees inside, the trees are lush, the air is fresh, and the environment is elegant. Among them, the "May 30" lecture hall in the park is a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit. There are not many tourists in the park, only a few children playing by the pond. Boxian Park was originally named Zhao Sheng Park, and later renamed Boxian Park, and the South Road in front of the park was renamed Boxian Road.
