#myhiddengems Visiting the Bronx Zoo was one of the highlights of my trip to New York City! 🏞️ Located in the Bronx, this massive zoo is one of the largest in the world, and it definitely lives up to its reputation. The entrance fee was around $40 for the full experience, which includes all the main exhibits and attractions. I started my day with the Wild Asia Monorail, a relaxing ride that gave me a close-up view of elephants, rhinos, and tigers in a naturalistic setting. 🐅 The exhibit made me feel like I was on a mini safari! The Congo Gorilla Forest was absolutely incredible, allowing me to see gorillas and other primates in a lush, green environment that felt like a real rainforest. Another favorite was the Butterfly Garden, where I walked among hundreds of colorful butterflies – truly magical! 🦋 There’s so much to see, including the Children's Zoo, where kids can feed farm animals, and the impressive World of Birds exhibit. The zoo is well laid out, with plenty of places to sit and eat, plus some delicious food options. After a full day of exploring, I left feeling like I’d been on a global wildlife adventure without ever leaving the city. #newyorktrip What a beautiful Zoo. It's so clean, the animals are in good condition. The zoo is pretty big, so we have a long day to spend there. It's super interesting. My only bad comment is.. the deli is good but super expensive. Like 40$ usd for lunch for 2 adults. It's expensive when you have kids. I just hope that all this money is back for the animals. But I suppose. Have a nice visit :) We went on the lower season but I think it's the best time to go because there are not many people, no wait, we can take our time and enjoy the animals. Also there are light nights and it's super beautiful too
