It’s an easy loop from Reykjavik and perfect for a first taste of Iceland’s wildness. ♨️ Soaking at the Blue Lagoon After a day on the road, nothing felt better than floating in the steaming Blue Lagoon. Silica masks, milky blue waters, and lava field views—completely otherworldly! 🌊 Chasing Waterfalls: Seljalandsfoss & Skógafoss Heading south, we visited Seljalandsfoss first—where you can walk behind the waterfall (bring a rain jacket!). A short drive later, Skógafoss stunned us with its sheer power and shimmering rainbows. ⛰️ Black Sands of Reynisfjara Reynisfjara Beach was otherworldly: roaring waves, basalt cliffs, and jet-black sand. Another beautiful morning in Iceland started with a cozy homemade breakfast at our Airbnb. ☕🍳 There’s something so comforting about a slow, peaceful morning before a day packed with adventures! First stop: the breathtaking Brúarfoss, often called Iceland’s “blue waterfall.” The water was a stunning, electric blue — it almost didn’t feel real! We hiked a little to get there, but every step was totally worth it for that view. 💙🏞️ Next up, we visited the famous Geysir geothermal area. Watching the geyser erupt was so exciting — the water would bubble and then suddenly shoot high into the sky! It felt like the earth itself was showing off a little bit. 🌋💦 After that, we made our way to Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. And guess what? We were lucky enough to see a rainbow stretching across the falls! It was pure magic, like stepping into a fairytale. 🌈✨ Our waterfall tour didn’t stop there! We visited Faxafoss, a smaller but equally beautiful waterfall nearby. We stayed at Úthlíd Cottages the night before, and this morning my husband and I headed to the nearby Blue Waterfall. Before we set off, I had no idea what the waterfall looked like. I thought it was just an ordinary waterfall that was just a little bluer in color, but I didn’t expect it to be so beautiful! Photos can't capture its magnificence and beauty, I recommend everyone to come Parking lot address: Hlauptunga, 801 Selfoss, Iceland (Google search for Brúarfoss Parking) Opening hours: 24 hours (but it is very dangerous without any lighting facilities at night, so it is recommended to go during the day) Parking fee: No tickets required, but you need to pay a parking fee of 750 ISK/4hrs (1~7 people/car) 2000 ISK/4hrs(8~9 people/car) 4000 ISK/4hrs(20+ persons/car) There is a big parking lot here. We came here at around 8 or 9 in the morning when the sun just rose. There were not many people there, so we had a lot of fun taking photos. XD Brúarfoss waterfall is also known as the Bridge Falls. Because the water of the waterfall is very blue, many people call it Tiffany Blue Falls or Blue Secret Falls (because it is difficult to reach). But now more and more people know about this place, and it is very easy to reach ~ it is no longer a secret place In the past, when there was no parking lot so close, you had to walk for 1 to 2 hours to see this waterfall. On the second day we set out for the blue secret waterfall Brúarfoss. It’s a super beautiful pink-blue color, exactly the same color as in the picture and different from what I expected. I checked in like crazy. It’s one of my favorite waterfalls in Iceland. Afterwards, we went to Thingvellir National Park, one of the three major attractions of the Golden Circle. We saw the junction of the Eurasian Plate and the North American Plate, as well as the waterfalls in the national park. The parking fee is a one-time fee, and you can park in any of the five parking lots throughout the day. Geyser Geyser is a must-see attraction, it is super magical. In recent years, Geyser has stopped erupting, and the Strokkur geyser next to it has become the protagonist. The height of the water column is about 15-20 meters, sometimes up to 40 meters. It erupts about once every 4-8 minutes. It is no surprise that it is hailed as one of the wonders of the world. It is super shocking! Finally we went to Gullfoss, the second largest waterfall in Iceland. There are double-fault waterfalls, divided into upper and lower waterfalls. The height difference is quite large, 11 meters and 21 meters respectively. #GlobalTravel

It is lesser known and not a main tourist attraction. Parking is not free but you will be mesmerised by the blue shimmering waterfall under the sun on a good sunny weather! Highly recommended when you are in Iceland!
