#Mainland China Attractions
Buji Old Street (near Buji Metro Station) is located in the old city area of Buji Street, extending from Salon Road in the east to Jihua Road in the west. It was originally named Buji Old Market and was built in 1852, the second year of Emperor Xianfeng's reign in the Qing Dynasty. It underwent many large-scale renovations during the Republic of China and the early days of reform and opening up.
In 1984, the then Buji government built a 10,000 square meter commercial area in the area, and later built the 600-meter-long and 18-meter-wide Zhenxing Street, which is well-known both inside and outside the city. At present, the area integrates commerce, entertainment, office and residence, and has developed into the commercial area with the strongest commercial atmosphere and the most concentrated flow of people in Buji Street.
Some people say: Compared with the skyscrapers in Nanshan and Futian, Buji Old Street has the real atmosphere of Shenzhen. The time-honored Buji Old Street has witnessed the footsteps of a generation of migrant workers from Shenzhen. If you come here at night, you will feel the bustling night market atmosphere. This is also where the night begins for Buji people.
Come and have a look if you pass by, it’s free and open 24/7.
