Wonderful hill in Lombok you must visit. The view is really amazing cause you can see blue ocean over the horizon on the west side also sunset. And in the east side you can see the gradation blue of coral. This is definitely the best place to catch sunset. Take a short hike uphill and you will be greeted with magnificent view. Very popular sunset photo spot. If hiking is not for you, locals offer motorbike shuttle for 30-50k. Beware! Access to this beach and hills has recently quite difficult to navigate because it is adjacent to planned MotoGP circuit development, so the land is on a heavy construction project. Jump back on your scooter and drive another 5 to 10 minutes east from Tanjung Aan Beach to find Bukit Merese, one of the most popular beaches in the area and the best spot to watch the sunset. The walk up to the viewpoint takes around 5-minutes to where you will see Bukit Merese’s idyllic features of rolling hills and several small beaches and coves. At the top, it’s a matter of picking your own headland to perch yourself on to watch the sunset. The most popular spot is where most of the crowd will be, standing around a dead tree on the edge of the cliff. We decided to walk for a little longer to a headland that reaches right out over the ocean and we had a grassy patch all to ourselves. The photos really don’t do the place justice! It’s a hilly area which doesn’t look like you are anywhere on earth. Theres also a-lot of unique landscape over there. Theres a cliff, lagoon, waves, hills, grassland, sunset, all combined into one place. Whats even better is it is only a 15mins drive away from Kuta Lombok area. During the evening sunset timing, there were lotsa people gathered there to enjoy the sunset and the light breeze everything was perfect!

It takes about 15-20 minutes to reach the top.The 360 degree view from the top is unforgettable. You need to walk up the hill to see the amazing panoramic view. Once you have reached its peak, you will be amazed by the incredible beach scenery. I can say that this is the most interesting spot i have visited during my trip in lombok this month!
