#wintertrip Did you know that Korea has its own Santa Village? It came up in conversation yesterday, so I thought I would post my pictures from last year. It is in Bongwha County in a small town called Buncheon. Since it opened in 2014, the town has embraced the idea and has become a bit of a theme park in it's own right. Along with the photo zones, there is an alpaca petting zoo, sled rides, Santa themed cafes, and even the roofs are all red. I went on a snowy weekday, and it was magical. It is open year-round but the Christmas festivities this year are between 2023. 12. 16. (Sat) ~ 2024. 02. 12. (Mon). The small town is easily accessible on the V-train running through the Taebaek mountain range. For location is 1126-4 Buncheon-ri, Socheon-myeon, Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

How to get there: By car. The road is winding and winding, so I was surprised that my phone didn't work halfway through the road. I felt like I was in the era of a movie... There's construction going on near the bridge before crossing the railroad. There's nothing to see around here. The Nakdong River flows coolly, and the rock face visible from the railroad toward the parking lot is beautiful. Attraction: Filming location of the movie Miracle. 📍Yangwon Station I visited Yangwon Station, the famous place in the movie 'Miracle' starring Park Jung-min and Yoona. ㅎㅎㅎ It's a very small station, but the photo zone was pretty. ☺️ ✔️It's a station where trains actually stop, so be careful when crossing the tracks. #HotPlace
