Thus, I went to hike at the nearby mountain in hope to catch the view of the castle. The journey was cold and tough, navigating through the slippery snow. In the end, I managed to reach the top and got to enjoy the spectacular view of Hohenzollern Castle.

#2024wish I wanted to visit Hohenzollern Castle as it looked so beautiful in the pictures. Although I didn't manage to enter the castle, I still managed to get some great photos from a hill top opposite the castle. However, the journey to that top of the hill was exhausting. I had to go through thick layers of snow. It was worth it though. In 2024, I hope to visit Neuwachstein Castle.

#2023travelwish I have always wanted to visit Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. However, it is quite far away from the hotel where I am staying. Thus, I chose to go Hohenzollern Castle which was 3 hours train ride away alone. While in the train, I realised that I had to purchase the tickets and the tickets for the timing I wanted to go in was sold out. Not only this, I could not see any buses available and I had to take expensive taxi. I can only view the castle from the outside. I also went to a hill top opposite of the castle. I had to hike through the forest in the hill for about 1 hr in order to get there. I was so exhausted when I got there. The view from there was quite worth it. When I tried to get back to the train station, I was kinda lost and had to get help from a restaurant to help me get a taxi. It was quite an experience especially in the winter.
