2025 Immenstadt Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in May)

The Haxenwirt is a home-style restaurant with "Allgäu, Swabian dishes". The interior is showing its age. There is room for improvement here with simple means. The staffs were friendly and competent. The menu is clear and the prices are reasonable kay libre man😁😅. The food and drinks ordered were perfect. Espresso was good. Perfect stop off point for me on a tour through Bavaria. The room and restaurant were very reasonably priced for what you get, and the staff were nice and friendly. Beautiful part of the world highly recommend! Extra shout out to the lady working there who let us combine multiple meals on the menu, PS: Partida my gums during our stay was swelling so i don't enjoy much the food but honestly delicious.

As breakfast was not included in our booking, we decided to add it as we checked-in at Beim Haxenwirt. We woke up at around 7 the next day to get an earlier breakfast to get ready for the next drive. Breakfast is from 6:30 but not sure until what time will it end but since we needed to start earlier, we were at our table at the most earlier time. The breakfast was simple but enough to fill our stomach for a longer time. We could eat as much as we wanted for 7.50€ per person. It was affordable for that amount of food that we ate! The staff gave us two thermos (Isolierkanne) full of coffee 🥰 There were also different choices of yoghurts, cereals and fruits aside from the tasty bun. There were different kinds of bread spread that can be perfectly paired with butter, cold cuts and cheese. Simple breakfast in a traditional bavarian table was the vibe! I enjoyed my food and was not hungry until 4pm! Going on a roadtrip around the Alps so we needed a place for overnight stay to continue the next day. Booked a place online and I found this hotel for a reasonable price so I did not hesitate and took it just like that. I did not know the place nur the area around so it was a kind of an adventure. We arrived in Immenstadt a bit late from Frankfurt and searched the place Beim Haxenwirt. Our navigator brought us to this amazing place! A very typical Bavarian old style apartment/hotel which is to my taste. The apartment has two rooms and was big enough for 3 persons. It has a small kitchen with stove so bringing your own food and cooking is possible! The rooms are spacious and each has TV and balcony. One of the rooms has a table and chairs where you can enjoy your cooked meal. The balcony is perfect for a morning sunshine with coffee or tea while enjoying the nice view consist of mountains, cows and greenery. Beim Haxenwirt is worth the price! It is also near from skiing area in winter. Beim Haxenwirt has very friendly staffs and a very quiet place to sleep especially if you really need to rest from a long drive. I forgot to take pictures of the apartment but I will assure you that it is a nice place to stay either for skiing holiday or for a roadtrip. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

#freehotelstay Amazing place where we stay for a night and experienced the Bavarian style living. This place is indeed solemn and spacious the locals are very nice and friendly also the staffs of the hotel are very approachable. They offer a breakfast that you will surely enjoy like what we've experienced. The rooms are spacious and tidy. I highly recommend this place who plans to travel in the border of Austria,Germany and Switzerland.

We had our scrumptious dinner at Burgcafe Werdenstein which is located at Burgweg 5, Immenstadt im Allgäu. The cafe/restaurant is at the foot of a 12th century castle ruins and have a very ideal view of the mountains and greens that sorrounded the place. We enjoyed the food and the very friendly service! We ordered Kaiserschmarren and Rinderrouladen that tasted extremely good 😊 The prices of the food were reasonable aside from its delicious taste paired with the cafe/restaurants ambiance. We were really glad to have found the place to have dinner. It was awesome and I really love the food, the service and the ambiance. The lady told us, that it is always busy during the summer seasons with guests from different places enjoying the nice weather and the lovely nature while eating at the outside tables. I gained another unforgettable food experience from this Alps journey 🥰 I would definitely recommend Burgcafe Werdenstein and would give it 10 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
