The meal included an excellent variety of dishes. The appetisers were juicy chicken wings cooked in a dry, well-seasoned coating that complimented the succulent sweetness of the chicken beautifully. The buffalo sauce had an intense but not overwhelming flavour, with just the right amount of spiciness. The fish bites were deep fried to perfection with a mild fish flavour, delicate breadcrumbs and no trace of greasiness. The tartare sauce was very well balanced with an excellent blend of creaminess and tartness. The burger was perfectly cooked and very juicy with a generous amount of cheese and bacon. The bacon was crispy, contrasting nicely with a soft bun that was not soggy despite the tomato. The chips were great, cut somewhat thicker than a typical French fry and so having a rich flavour and a lovely texture, with a firm outside and a soft and fluffy middle, which the dipping sauces complimented very well. The highlight was the milkshake, which combined many flavours, all of which could be tasted with each mouthful, the flavour of chocolate, vanilla, cream, peanuts, and banana all coming through individually.
