I stayed at a 5-star hotel in Bursa (sauna, breakfast included) for 180,000 won for 2 people, and it was so great. #Halloween2023 On September 23, I had the honor of tasting the earliest Turkish kebab restaurant in Bursa (İskender Efendi Konağı Est. 1867). Since its establishment in 1867, this restaurant has been inheriting the Turkish food culture with its unique deliciousness. It is worth mentioning that although the new generation of family members received fourteen years of higher education in the UK and the US, they still chose to return to Türkiye to continue this century-old family catering business. This restaurant has unique features that allow people not only to taste delicious food but also to feel the profound cultural heritage. Almost all customers who visit order their signature dish, Iskender, which is a dish consisting of grilled lamb, flatbread and cheese. In addition, the drinks they provide are also very special. Figure 4 shows a pure grape drink that has been naturally fermented. It has a mellow and layered taste. Figure 13-14, a tour group of dozens of people from Russia. This was also the first time I shared a meal with a tour group in the same restaurant. Although their menu is slightly different from ours, it is generally very similar. Walk around Bursa to explore cute colourful streets and dainty roads .. and stumble upon areas unmarked by tourists to see a true reflection of what Bursa feels like away from the crowds. There is more to see than the well-known attractions, and things cost far less (and sometimes even taste better) in the less-commercialized tourism spots. Getting There - We used a bus from Dudulla station in Istanbul Attractions - Green Mosque, Uludag, living museum, silk house, Inkaya tree Hotels - B loft Hotel, but there are plenty more budget friendly options Food & Restaurants - Iskender (everywhere!) Shopping - Bursa bazaar
