We liked the atmosphere of the shop, which looks like a coffee shop here. There are seats outside and inside the shop. Customers come from both families and friends. You can sit and chat and chill. The menu here has both sweet and savory dishes, classic Italian coffee, and many types of tea to choose from. We ordered a homemade tart, which on the day we went was an apricot tart. The tart dough is semi-soft like bread but spread thinly. We noticed that many shops in this area like to make tart dough in this style. The filling is apricot jam that is sour and sweet. This restaurant is located in Genk, not far from the old mine that was converted into a tourist attraction, C-mine. There are both indoor and outdoor seating outside the restaurant, perfect for a relaxing dinner after sightseeing. The food style here is in the southern Mediterranean style, such as Spain, France, and even Mexican food that is close to Spanish food. For this meal, I ordered 2 main dishes. ➡️ Couscous with Iberico Rib This menu is Iberico pork from Spain baked with rosemary to make it fragrant, served with couscous and various vegetables. The taste of this dish is mild. The pork is still a bit dry and tough, but overall it's good. ➡️ Southern Style Sea Bass This dish is delicious. The sea bass is baked to perfection and served on soft and smooth mashed potatoes. Mixed with tomatoes, olives, capers, and shallots. It tasted more flavorful than the previous dish. The fish was fresh and didn't smell fishy. I liked it. ➡️ Purple Monkey "New" It's a mocktail made with ginger, lemon juice, and violet syrup. At the same time, it's convenient to get there. Take bus number 45 from Hasselt, just one transfer (about 40 minutes). The bus stop is only 240 meters away from the hotel. From the hotel, if you take the same bus to the end of the line, you will arrive in Maasmechelen, which has a large shopping outlet. Of course, the bus station is in front of the outlet. The smell is really strong, as expected from blue cheese. For me, I can eat it but I don’t particularly like it. However, some people may not like it. There are also regular sliced ​​cheeses. If I remember correctly, there is also Brie. ➡️ Yogurt + Fruit Salad – This is the standard taste. ➡️ Drinks – I must say that the drink line here is very diverse. Cold drinks include orange juice, apple juice, fresh milk, chocolate milk (almost every hotel in Belgium has this, not to lose its reputation as the city of chocolate).
