Cafe 100 Afternoon Tea ($284/person)
Savories🍞🥖🍗🍖
♠️Duck spring rolls with mirin sauce (top left)
♥️Prawn and yuzu caviar tart (top right)
♣️Rosemary ham pate, raspberry sauce, roselle buns (bottom left)
♦️Chinese Tea Egg Mini Sandwich (bottom right)
Appearance: 🐧🐧🐧
Taste: 🐧🐧🐧
Each savory snack is bite-sized, and the presentation is average, but not bad.
In terms of taste, the spring rolls have a thin and crispy outer layer, a little greasy, and a rich filling, which goes well with the special mirin sauce.
The caviar tart was a bit hard and not crispy enough. The prawns and pomelo were fresh and sweet, but the caviar was not in large quantity and I could not savor it carefully.
The Roselle wrapped ham pate has a strong flavor and is rather salty, thus masking the flavor of the raspberry sauce, making the overall taste quite heavy.
The sandwich was soft and the filling was like a normal egg salad, with no tea flavor.
Sweets🍮🍦🍰🍡
♠️Hojicha pancakes with cream and jam (top left)
♥️Assam Milk Tea Chocolate Red Bean Puff (top right)
♣️Black tea honey cream, chocolate cheesecake (bottom left)
♦️Mango Lychee Cup (lower right)
Appearance: 🐧🐧🐧🐧
Taste: 🐧🐧🐧
Personally, I think desserts are more delicate and attentive than savory ones. They are still bite-sized, with a small overall portion and a low satiety effect.
In terms of taste, the muffin itself has a light roasted tea flavor, which is very sweet. The muffin has a slightly hard and crispy crust, but is solid yet soft inside, which is very good.
The puffs are crispy and a little hollow. The milk tea chocolate flavored cream has a generous portion and is rich in flavor without being too sweet, and pairs perfectly with the red bean paste.
The texture of the cheesecake is like mousse, very soft and smooth, the cheese flavor is average, and among the many flavors advertised, only the chocolate flavor is more prominent. The cake base is crispy and delicious.
The mango pieces on the top of the mango lychee cup are fresh and sweet, not sour. The mango mousse in the middle layer is smooth and tender, and the taste is average. There is a small amount of lychee jelly at the bottom layer, which I personally think is a bit superfluous.
Rose black tea 🫖
Appearance: 🐧🐧🐧
Taste: 🐧🐧🐧🐧
Black tea is served in tea bags in a pure white teapot with a set of cups and saucers.
In terms of taste, the black tea rose flavor is mellow and sweet. The tea flavor is not too strong, but rather refreshing, which is very suitable for relieving greasiness.
Waiting time: 🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧
Afternoon tea is served by online reservation, so you can be seated immediately when you arrive without having to wait in line.
Waiting time: 🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧
The afternoon tea set and drinks were all served within 10 minutes.
Environment: 🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧
The restaurant is located in Sky 100, which is nearly 400 meters high. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can overlook the scenery of Hong Kong, with a first-class view.
Service: 🐧🐧
The waiter's attitude was average, and he was a little careless when serving the dishes, almost dropping the teacup.
There were not many guests, but the table was still not cleared for more than 20 minutes after they left.
P.S. The afternoon tea at the restaurant is limited to 2 hours.
🐧❤️Conclusion: An afternoon tea option that is worth visiting once.
