#weekendgetaways 📍Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market, Jeju Island, South Korea Visited and explored Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market that is located In Jeju island and we had a wonderful time looking for local delicacies here! The market is easily accessible via car as we rented a car while in Jeju, they have a multi storey car park as well, very convenient! The market is lively and vibrant with many stalls selling local delicacies, street food, seafood, souvenirs! The entire market is a long stretch of stalls line up in which visitors have to order and pay and wait for the food. There is also a long bench in the middle of the street for visitors to sit down and chill, eat the food. Some parts of the market was quieter while some was busy, it’s always great to walk around to hunt for snacks and street food. We tried the tangerine mochi and fried gimbap, pretty unique, taste decent. Lovely place to visit!

The Teddy Bear Museum on Jeju Island is one of the tourist attractions. It takes about an hour to tour the whole place. The building's exterior is very colorful, and the guide mentioned that it wasn't built by Koreans. Once you step inside, you'll find it's a completely different world, and it's very different from what you might imagine a teddy bear museum to be. The teddy bears inside are almost all anthropomorphized, and many of them are quite tall, some even a bit startling 😂. There are various teddy bears dressed in human costumes, and it also houses the world's most expensive teddy bear. It's truly a unique museum.

#traveldiaries I was completely caught off guard by how much I loved the aquarium tour at Aqua Planet Jeju! The variety of fish, turtles, and reptiles was incredible—some stunning, others a bit intimidating. If you’re on the hunt for a big shark, this is where you’ll find one. Plus, there’s a sea turtle that might remind you of Crush from *Finding Nemo*! I’d highly recommend stopping by. Be sure to catch the water music show, especially the seal performance—it’s absolutely adorable and a must-see!
