Macau - Macau sightseeing - I went to Camoes Park!
Macau, Macau Tourism
There are many tourist spots in Macau, but this time I went to Camoes Park, so I'll share what it was like there.
📍 Camoes Park, White Dove Park
📍 de Macau, Praca de Luis de Camoes, Macau
Camoes Park is a park with a gentle hill, and is full of plants from China, India, etc., which are said to have been planted by gardeners invited from England.
It was full of rare plants that you can't see in Japan, of course.
Inside the shrine made of a huge rock, there was a bust of Portuguese poet Luis Camoes.
Camoes stayed in Macau from 1557 to 1559, and is famous for writing part of the epic poem Us Lusiadas during that time!
It's a spacious park, and many tourists,
as well as locals, use it as a place to relax,
so there were a lot of people there.
There are benches, so it's a great place to take a short break
while sightseeing!
