The capsule hotel I stayed at the other day while transiting at Kuala Lumpur International Airport was quite good. It's located on the arrivals lobby floor of the second terminal, KLIA2, and you can check in 24 hours a day. It costs about 3,000 yen per night and includes a shower. You'll get mineral water and a toothbrush when you check in. You can also use the lockers with locks, so I don't think there are any security issues. Recently I checked in to the CapsuleTransit at klia2, to catch up on a few hours of shut-eye on a real comfy bed after arriving at klia2 early in the morning with a crimp in my neck and stressed out body after being in the plane for 7 hours plus… My check in was smooth and I was handed my access card on a lanyard to the ladies single capsule as well as a bag of amenities but told to return the bath towel upon check out… You may choose from Female Single Capsule (sleeps 1), Mixed Single Capsule (sleeps 1), Queen Capsule (sleeps 2), or Private Capsule Suite (sleeps 3). Your little room the size of a container comes with one very comfortable and clean single-size bed, foldable desk with mirror, 1 pillow and a very fluffy duvet, in room hanger, personal reading light, electric power point, amenity bag with towel, a sleeping kit (with ear plugs, eye mask and dental kit) and complimentary 500ml drinking water. Apart from the pretty cool and very comfortable capsule bed, the price includes the use of a 24 / 7 reception, locker, shower, lounge access, library with book exchange, and free Wi-Fi. The airline check-in counter at the Departure Hall is just like a 5 to 10 minutes walk away from the Capsule Transit so it is super convenient for those who are catching early flights or wish to get to the bed right after late-night arrival or those with missed flights, last minute flight cancellations…. This was the second time i staying at airport for less than 8 hours to my connecting flight. i had booked 6hours for take a short nap. Price is quite cheap. They would provide shower towel and toothbrush set. The sharing toilet is clean and dry. Hair dryer and toiletries provided as well.
