🇪🇸Tossa de Mar, a small town like a jewel in Spain🇪🇸
Tossa de Mar, a town near Barcelona🇪🇸
The scenery of Tossa de Mar, a small rural town in Catalonia. I couldn't get my luggage, so I missed the bus and thought it would take two hours, but it took two and a half to three hours because of the traffic, but I was amazed by the scenery of the town!
The name was unfamiliar and the transportation was not good, so I had to walk and walk, but it was really great for me because I could see every corner while walking. It's a city that can be reached from Barcelona in about two hours. It's a place that almost only locals know, so I was able to spend my time leisurely.

Tossa de Mar - the castle by the beach
Tossa de Mar is a beautiful beach town 1 hour north of Barcelona.
It is well known for its castle and wall crowning a beachside hill and descending all the way to the sea level.
The town has plenty of options where to stay and where to eat. From typical Spanish food to more international options. And everything is just walking distance from the beach.
A perfect getaway for the summer months where to enjoy pristine waters, heritage culture and delicious gastronomy.

Tossa de Mar: A Medieval Fairytale
Tossa de Mar is a charming coastal town located about 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, in the heart of the Costa Brava. It's a popular destination for day trips from Barcelona, offering a beautiful beach, a medieval castle, and a relaxed atmosphere.
Getting There 🚌:
The easiest way to get to Tossa de Mar from Barcelona is by bus. Several companies operate direct buses between the two cities, with journey times of around 1 hour and 20 minutes. You can also drive to Tossa de Mar, which takes about the same amount of time. If you're driving, be aware that parking can be difficult in the town center, especially during the summer months.
Things to See and Do: (whole town is accessible by walking as it is very small)
📍The Old Town (Vila Vella): The most iconic landmark in Tossa de Mar is its medieval walled town, the Vila Vella. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Spain. The Vila Vella is perched on a hilltop overlooking the sea, offering stunning views of the coastline.
📍The Beach: Tossa de Mar has a beautiful sandy beach that's perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing. The beach is also home to several restaurants and bars, where you can enjoy a meal or a drink with a view.
📍The Lighthouse: The Tossa de Mar lighthouse is located on a small island just offshore. You can take a boat trip to the lighthouse, or you can walk there along a scenic coastal path.
📍The Coastal Path (Camí de Ronda): The Camí de Ronda is a network of coastal paths that run along the entire Costa Brava. The path from Tossa de Mar to Lloret de Mar is particularly beautiful, offering stunning views of the coastline and the Mediterranean Sea.
Food 🍲 and drinks🍷 :
Tossa de Mar is home to a wide variety of restaurants, serving everything from traditional Catalan cuisine to international dishes. The town is also known for its seafood, so be sure to try some of the local specialties, such as paella or grilled fish.

Tossa de Mar Girona Spain in Beautiful❤️💥
#europetrip
When I traveled to Tossa de Mar in Spain and visited this scenic spot, I was like the legendary filming location of the blue sea? But I don't watch Korean dramas. Did Dilraba take photos here? Okay, I'll go to Tossa de Mar, Girona, Spain tomorrow. You can take a bus from Barcelona to a small town, which takes over an hour. It's just that I didn't want to rush out of bed and wake up naturally, so I stopped a rental 140ER at the hotel entrance

Spain Tossa Travel Guide
Hi! Friends, today I want to recommend a super niche travel destination to everyone - Tossa in Spain! This beautiful village has narrow cobblestone alleys, beautiful boutiques and gourmet restaurants, and is a very suitable place for vacation.
First of all, I recommend everyone to go hiking in Cala Llevadors. This trail extends along the coastline to Castillo de Tossa, and you can admire multiple bays and attractions along the way, ending at Codolar Beach. From the cliff, you can overlook the entire sea, the scenery is super spectacular!
Walking in the old town, you can see the ruins of the medieval castle wall that once stood here. There are cafes and delicious seafood restaurants in the castle, where you can taste delicious food while admiring the beautiful sea view.
In addition, don't miss the two popular photo spots in the town. One is the square stone gate, which is also one of the filming locations of Jeon Ji-hyun's 'Legend of the Blue Sea', and the photo effect is super good! The other is a iron door through the bridge hole, behind the iron door is the blue sea, standing here to take pictures, as if in a fairy tale world.
In terms of transportation, it is not far from Barcelona, and it takes about an hour to drive. I suggest everyone to go to Tossa for a day or spend a leisurely weekend, and feel the unique charm of this beautiful village!
