The White Windmill Town on the Central Plateau of Spain: Consuegra
Consuegra, the famous white windmill town, is a must-visit spot near Madrid, just 1-2 hours' drive away. If you're heading south to Seville, make sure to stop by this charming town, known for being the setting of Don Quixote's epic battle with the windmill monsters.
The central plateau of Spain is a vast, barren landscape with earthy tones that give the surroundings a desolate feel. The white windmills of Molinos de Viento de Consuegra stand out prominently on a small hill, creating a dreamy silhouette against the blue sky.
These white windmills, built over 400 years ago, were originally used to grind corn, wheat, and other crops, as well as to press olive oil using wind power. They later became a popular tourist attraction after being featured in a car commercial, making them a great spot for photos.
Due to Consuegra's relatively inconvenient transportation, most visitors come by tour buses, spending about 1-2 hours exploring the area.

The cradle of Andalusian Arab popular architecture culture
Andalusia Tour ~ Cadiz (Region)
Declared a Historic Artistic Site in 1976 and awarded the first National Decoration Award in 1978, Vejer de la Frontera’s most stunning feature is its Arab-Andalusian pop architecture.
The town is located on a hill, a few kilometers from the coast, from where visitors can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view. The walled and historic quarter with its narrow winding streets and whitewashed houses makes for a beautiful sight. There we must focus on the medieval castle from the 11th century, the Jewish quarter and the Arch of Segur. Also worth mentioning is the Church of the Divine Salvador and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Oliva, where a 16th-century statue is venerated on the altar.
