this is one of the mustvisit places in Cat ba island! it’s not too hard to reach however you do need to rent a scooter! we rent a scooter and drove all the way up there. you do need to pay entrance fee 80-100 dong which is not that much! the hike itself was a bit challenging! however the view up there was just amazing you will see how green this island is! I had a great time

Cat Ba Island is a paradise on Earth.
This is probably one of the most underrated islands. It located in the northern side on Viet Nam. We took our bikes on the train from Hai Duong to Ha Long and then we drove to the point where we were able to take the ferry and get to Cat Ba. There are some nice hotels ranging from affordable to Expensive to suit your personal taste. Different beaches to enjoy and many restaurants to fill in your stomach. #catbaisland #vietnam

1. Cat Ba Island
Cat Ba Island features a diverse terrain with cliffs, deep gorges, beaches, tropical forests, marshes, and secluded villages. To protect this diverse ecosystem and wildlife, about half of Cat Ba Island was designated as Cat Ba National Park by local authorities in 1986. The park is famous for the endangered Cat Ba langur, a golden-haired primate species with a charming punk rock hairstyle. The island's residents are concentrated in the town of Cat Ba in the southern part of the island.
2. Ha Long Bay
Ha Long Bay is a well-known scenic spot in Vietnam, famous for its magnificent and picturesque scenery, and has been included in the list of World Natural Heritage sites. There are more than 2,000 uniquely shaped limestone pillars standing on the calm sea surface, which resemble the karst landscape of Guilin in Guangxi, China, hence it is also known as 'Guilin on the Sea'.
3. Cat Ba National Park
Cat Ba Island has a vast expanse of pristine forest, which the Vietnamese government has designated as a national nature reserve, namely Cat Ba National Park. The reserve is home to many precious trees and a variety of rare birds and animals, making it a huge natural zoo of flora and fauna.
During his singing career of over 25 years, Quang Dung has left a profound impression with many lyrical songs. Let's listen to his voice in Hai Phong~
