The square in front of the church is also a gathering place for locals and tourists, with many people taking photos or resting there. Back in HCMC for the second time this year, I was ready for some serious unwinding. My date picked this hotel, and I wasn’t convinced at first—the photos looked a bit dated. But as soon as we stepped in after a relaxing massage, I was absolutely blown away. 
The Christmas decorations had just gone up, transforming the space into a cozy, magical wonderland. The room? It felt like I’d walked into a grand mansion—bright, spacious, and impeccably clean. The complimentary minibar was a nice touch, though we opted for drinks from the convenience store just behind the hotel. 
The bed was so soft and comfortable, it's almost impossible to get up in the morning. The room came with slippers, soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, body lotion, comb, toothbrush, bath salt, loofa and more! Soaking in the bath first thing in the morning and last thing at night is my favourite thing about this hotel. 
The only downside: the glass bathroom setup was a little awkward, especially since the toilet faces a window, and the TV was laggy with limited options to turn off Vietnamese translations. 
The pool was so cute and cosy but it closes quite early. There was also a steam room for a post-swim warm-up and a gym with everything from treadmills to free weights. 
The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the stay feel even more special. If you’re visiting HCMC, this hotel is a must-try!

In a rush to a massage appointment, we stumbled upon Baozi Restaurant, and it didn’t disappoint. The steam buns were perfectly fluffy, and the fillings ranged from crispy chicken to tender pork belly.
What we ordered:
1. Bao Ga (Butter Milk Chicken Bao) – 10/10 The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The steam buns were soft and fluffy! The flavours and texture was well balanced. It satisfied my hunger and it was the perfect dish on the go.
2. Bao Thit Kho (Pork Belly Bao) – 6/10 Delicious pork but lacked texture—could use some crunch from veggies.
3. Tra Sua Baozi (Signature Milk Tea) – 10/10 A sweet, thick and milky drink! The topping was very generous, but you'll definitely need a bottle of water to end off the drink.
I visited here again recently to try more items:
4. Prawn Wanton - 10/10 great texture and flavour! The prawns were juicy and I love the crispy garlic bits on the top.
5. Scotch Eggs - 8/10 Jammy eggs but a little too greasy for my liking.
6. Mi Bo Dai Loan - 8/10 Very comforting but nothing too unique! It's something I would crave if I'm feeling cold or unwell.
The interior was inviting, and the staff were friendly, though the service was slow. A great spot for Taiwanese flavors—just allow extra time for your meal.


#圣诞好去处2024 I am on a business trip to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam again. In my free time, I must travel and relax, experience the local culture and customs, and of course enjoy the local food. The most important thing is to take good photos at the local attractions📷! I was really shocked when I got off the plane and arrived in Ho Chi Minh! I never thought that a southern country would have such a Christmas 🎄 atmosphere. Every tourist attraction, store, restaurant, and department store have all been transformed into Christmas costumes! It was such a surprise that the attractions I had visited before had a completely different feel after being decorated for Christmas! It’s really beautiful! Take good photos! I recommend everyone to come to Ho Chi Minh City to spend Christmas!

There are various shops on each floor of the Coffee Apartment, among which coffee shops account for the largest proportion in the mall. It is like a coffee-themed expo, providing a variety of coffee beans for drinking with diverse and rich styles, so it is called the Coffee Apartment.

Attracted by the romantic appearance of the museum, I later discovered that the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts records the suffering, hope, and bravery of the Vietnamese people during the war, and their longing for peace 🥲 I think it is precisely because of these scars that this French colonial building is both broken and romantic. Maison De Camille Boutique Hotel It's really worth staying in this hotel for around HK$300~~ The hotel front desk is really polite. Accommodation basically includes breakfast, which is the best at this price It's not far from the Pink Church and the check-in attractions in the city.
