Brief Exhibition: "Life Without Gasso" Youth Life Art Co-Creation Project Nearly 130 event postscript limited-time exhibition 🎉🎉🎉
I founded the English name breathe news hk, breath means "breath", I hope you can breathe in absorb more relaxed and interesting information, breathe out to relax tense mood. So this event must introduce you to breathe in & out.
Sponsored by the Coca-Cola Foundation, organized by the social creation unit Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division, and jointly planned by Pinocchio Communication, the project "Life is not tied", but life should not be bundled, should be free to express self-exploration, launched in October 2021 for teenagers aged 13 to 18 in Hong Kong. It brings together 14 renowned local artists and art therapists, including He She founder and woodcarving artist Wong Tin-yin, Hong Kong artists Lau Xue-cheng, Chan Wai-kit, Cheung Zhen-yang, Ah-hi, implicit, San-san, Onion Peterman, Hong Kong fashion designer and knot artist Siu Yu-Zoe, and registered art therapists Mimi Tung, Lin Xu-yan, Tang Ming-min, Leung Ying-yi and Lu Ka-hin. In the past year, we visited 28 secondary schools and institutions in Hong Kong and held a total of 128 art healing classes, accompanying nearly 400 students to create unique works in their own mood.
Hong Kong artist Lau Hsieh-cheng said: "This year's 345 month visits different schools every day. Each school has about 6 hours of art extracurricular activities classes. It is a very happy thing to reach out to students. Seven local new generations are young but already have a lot of thinking and ideals I just hope they use the box as the center and describe the structure of opening their hearts. Many of the works are very creative and thoughtful. Some students enjoy the process of rubbing clay. They talk while rubbing clay for two hours, and they really relax. This is what we want to achieve.
Registered Art Therapist Mei-Zi Tung: “Through the process of art creation, students and the younger generation can release their emotions, feel accepted and understand their inner depths, so that their body and mind are healthier. Like a student, we used polka as the main material, and she created a two hearts with wire The bridges built allow Bozi to intersperse in the middle. She said that in the face of her different personalities between enthusiasm and introspection, often exchanged, sometimes do not know how to communicate with others, too enthusiastic and afraid of people, too introspected and afraid of people, this is a good way of self-expression, recognize yourself."
Hong Kong fashion designer and knot artist Zoe Siu Yu: "I hope that by reinventing old clothes and knitting knots, students can open up more mental interaction. Like bringing students a vest that their mom wore when she was pregnant with him to turn him into a useful handbag for mom: or another student bringing a T-shirt with horizontal stripes , the T-shirt she wore when she was bullied by her classmates at a younger age reminded her of her life when she couldn't be self. I hope the T-shirt can create a doll to remind them to face life bravely.
As a planned graduation event, "Life Without Gasso" will hold the "Play and Create a Good Mood Art Exhibition" at INNO Expo on the 1st floor of Central Market from September 23 to October 2. The exhibition will display more than 200 student works in three exhibition areas: "Exploration", "Experience" and "Expression". Let teenagers who have attended Life Without Gas classes take the lead in the art exhibition, expressing inner stories through art forms such as woodworking, illustration, large-scale sketching, mixed media, blogs, and textile design. The public can also participate in free workshops and experiential activities for art “self” healing to create a good mood while playing with art therapists. And take the lead in experiencing the "Play and Create Good Mood Art Exhibition" to walk into the mood story of teenagers.
The public can register online to participate in six art “self” healing workshops specially designed for the Play Create a Good Mood Art Exhibition.
