Cha Ca Thang Long in Hanoi - Special Fish
I had the pleasure of dining at Cha Ca Thang Long in Hanoi, and it was an exceptional experience.
There is only 1 item in the menu, the restaurant specializes in the iconic Vietnamese dish, cha ca—grilled turmeric-marinated fish served with dill and spring onions, cooked right at your table. Everything was served almost immediately.
The fish was tender, flavorful, and perfectly complemented by the fresh herbs and aromatic spices. The interactive dining style, where you stir-fry the fish with greens at the table, added a fun and engaging touch to the meal. Pairing the fish with vermicelli noodles, peanuts, and a tangy dipping sauce created a well-balanced and delicious combination. Don’t be surprise by the portion of fish to be slightly little, when we were almost done with our food, we were very full! The set comes with deep fried rice roll too.
The service was attentive, with staff eager to assist in ensuring the dish was prepared just right. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, offering an authentic Hanoi dining experience.
