[2025 Hangzhou Attraction] Travel Guide for Changqiao (Updated May)

Since last November, I have written dozens of guides on Hangzhou, which has given me a deeper understanding of the city. I visited dozens of attractions and discovered some less popular ones. 1 Xia Man Jue Long - Tang House Hidden in the mountains around West Lake, this mysterious ancient house is reminiscent of the scenes in 'Spirited Away'. The peculiar wooden house situated in a tea plantation is intriguing in itself. 2 Maojiabu - Dyeing Sky High A less frequented scenic spot by West Lake, mainly because it is not near the IN77 shopping district and is a bit far from the city center. 80% of tourists do not come here, yet it is the starting point of the ancient path that the ancients took to Lingyin Temple to offer incense. Address: Maojiabu - Dyeing Sky High scenic spot Changqiao Park (where you can capture the 'Leifeng Sunset Glow' scene) For those without a camera, Changqiao Park is the best place to capture the Leifeng Pagoda. Around 6-7 pm in summer, you can capture the scene where the sun only shines on one side of the Leifeng Pagoda just before sunset, and you can even capture both the Leifeng Pagoda and the sun in the same frame. This is the famous 'Leifeng Sunset Glow'.

Hangzhou is not just about West Lake There are many places worth visiting If you come to Hangzhou Be sure to finish these places before you leave ❶Manjuelong During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the fragrance of osmanthus fills the city of Hangzhou, which is really romantic. And Manjuelong is definitely the most classic place to appreciate osmanthus in Hangzhou, famous for its osmanthus since the Ming Dynasty. Spring in Hangzhou begins with plum blossoms... I also took photos from before the New Year to after the New Year. Hangzhou is really showing some spring colors, which has already made me run until my legs are worn out... March is coming to an end, and the plum blossoms in Hangzhou are also coming to an end. The first three attractions are very close to each other. I recommend Yuewang Temple, Zhanbi Tower and Guozhuang. Finally, if you have time, you can check in at Changqiao Park. It is a very good tourist destination and you should not miss it.

For Broken Bridge and Bai Causeway, you must go early when there are fewer people to experience the poetic charm of "white sand paths under green willow shade." The willows along Gushan Road and Xiling Bridge are incredibly elegant! Su Causeway is officially certified as a spring viewing paradise, with stunning red peach blossoms and green willows. Walking from North Mountain Road to South Mountain Road feels like strolling through a painting! Photo tips revealed!
