A Zen Park Not to Be Missed | Changshou Temple Cultural Park
Changshou Temple Cultural Park, connected to the Changshou Temple corridor bridge, is designed with unique ingenuity that refreshes the senses. It embodies the Zen spirit of the temple as well as the classic elegance of southern Chinese gardens. With pavilions, terraces, and towers, every step reveals a new scene, making it an ideal place to experience tranquility and spirituality. The abbot's handwritten Zen phrases are graffitied everywhere - on white walls, silk fabrics, lanterns, tea sets, and stones, adding a touch of color to the Buddhist ambiance. This is the most beautiful Zen park I have ever seen, where one can meditate, enjoy the scenery, appreciate flowers, and savor tea to clear the mind. The cultural park also frequently offers public welfare classes such as flower arranging, tea ceremony, and guqin. Even though I am not a Buddhist, I am deeply moved by this atmosphere.
The temple houses several collar-wearing, people-friendly tabby cats.
