It's located on the 2nd floor of the airport, and it's a large restaurant that you can see right away when you go up the escalator! It's located right in front of the pharmacy :) 🍽️Menu: Woosamgyeop Sundubu: 10,500 won -The menu consists only of Korean food! We were wondering what to eat, so we ate Sundubu Jjigae, and it was really delicious! If you ever stop by before going abroad, I hope you eat Korean food before you leave! We ordered only one menu and ordered extra rice to share, and the portion was enough! 📷 Interior: - The interior of Playboy 6 is characterized by a cute and comfortable yet modern interior that feels like you've entered a cafe! It was considered the prettiest food court in the airport :) The seats were spacious and comfortable, and many airport visitors were eating there too! Cheongju is a thousand-year-old capital city, and is known as the "Cultural Capital of East Asia". It is an important inland transportation hub in South Korea. Many important railways and highways converge here. It is the best transfer point to other parts of South Korea. ⋯⋯⋯⋯ Cheongju International Airport was originally a military airport, but was converted into a joint military and civil airport in 1984. The original name was "Yangyang Airport", and it was renamed "Cheongju International Airport" in April 1997. It is the most comprehensive central airport in central South Korea. The airport is not big and has regional functions. It takes less than half an hour from getting off the plane to going through customs. There are convenience stores, snack restaurants, cafes, etc. in the airport. 1F emart (~21:00) 2F CU (~22:00) 2F restaurant (~20:30) ⋯⋯⋯⋯ You can directly transfer to the intercity bus from here, to Seoul, Daejeon, Cheonan, Incheon, Chungju. You can also take a bus directly to the city or transfer to KTX: Bus 747 (Osong Station) Bus 757 (Osong Station, Sejong City) Bus 407 (Sangdang Park, City) Tips: The passenger service center in the airport has very complete information, fluent English, and there are people who speak Chinese from time to time.

I found a cheap ticket from Kansai Airport to Cheongju, so I decided to go to Seoul via Cheongju Airport for the first time. Cheongju International Airport was surprisingly compact, and it took only about 10 minutes to get outside after getting off the plane (without checked baggage). From here, I took an express bus to Seoul. Since it was the weekend, I was glad I bought the ticket in advance! It was fully booked on the day. There was a bit of traffic, so it took about an hour and a half to get to the Seoul Express Bus Terminal, but the comfortable seats allowed me to sleep during the trip, making it very easy and comfortable. This time, I also considered taking the train, but since it takes 10 minutes to walk from the airport to the station, I chose the bus. I had some waiting time at the airport, so I went to see the station. It had the atmosphere of an unmanned station that you see in dramas, and I took a picture as a train arrived. If I have the chance, I would like to stay in Cheongju next time.

It seems really good to go to Japan from Cheongju International Airport. However, it seems that its role as an international airport is a bit lacking. For example, Cheongju International Airport does not seem to have a quarantine center for plants and animals. There are various items such as animals and sashimi that can be taken to Japan if you receive a quarantine certificate from the plant quarantine center. I got on a plane from Cheongju and arrived in Japan, but because there was no document that could be confirmed by the quarantine center, it was eventually confiscated and destroyed in Japan. I wish Cheongju International Airport had a quarantine center for plants and animals. Then, wouldn't there be more people who can carry a lot of plants and animals using Cheongju Airport than Incheon International Airport?

It's an international airport, but... There are only two vending machines for express buses to Seoul. You can switch between Japanese and English, but payment is only by Korean credit card. I told them that they couldn't buy it at the information desk, so they bought it with my personal credit card and I gave them cash. If you can't speak Korean or English, it's a difficult airport to get into. 😢 I took a bus to Osung Station and was considering taking the KTX, but I had luggage and wanted to take the express bus no matter what. I arrived at Seoul's Nambu Terminal in just under two hours. Considering how crowded Incheon is, I think it's also possible to arrive in Cheongju.
