Michelin recommended, Taiwanese time-honored chicken cuisine: Jijiazhuang
"#鸡家庄" is a time-honored restaurant in Zhongshan District, Taipei with a leisurely atmosphere. It specializes in local traditional chicken dishes and has been recommended by #Michelin for many years in a row. It is widely loved by tourists and locals. There are often tour groups or families coming to dine here, and the business is booming.
The Taiwanese homemade dishes are well-made, and the first recommendation is #三味鸡, which is a platter of white-cut chicken, black-bone chicken and smoked chicken. The three colors of white, black and brown have unique flavors. The chicken is plump and tender, not dry and has no meaty chicken flavor. It is so juicy that it almost drips with one bite, and it is very delicious and chewy.
#鸡卷 The tofu skin on the outside is fried thin and crispy, and the meat filling inside is plump and moist, with a very layered taste. It is one of the most amazing Taiwanese delicacies #肉茧仔.
The crispy sausage that is delicious even though it is not a chicken dish, the preserved radish egg that is baked like a pancake, the stir-fried green beans, the braised bitter melon, the Taiwanese rice noodles, and the black fungus blood dish made with only pig blood, all of them bring out the unique essence of Taiwanese cuisine.
Finally, each table will be served a dessert #蛋布普拉. The Taiwanese pudding has an old-fashioned sweet taste, with the aroma of egg and milk blended with the flavor of caramel in the mouth, making people feel happy and satisfied after eating it.
Eight dishes and a pot of tea, no soup, and the fried loofah was sold out so I didn't get to eat it. The total cost for five people was about $3,000 and we realized it was a famous restaurant only after we finished eating.
