[2025 Guangzhou Attraction] Travel Guide for Chimelong Birds Park (Updated Mar)

Chimelong Birds Park is located quite off from other theme parks of Chimelong group and we did not have a hope for anything stunning when taxi drove us to a location which looked quite suburban. But we thoroughly enjoyed every part of it, especially the bird shows performed at different parts of the park at designated time (look for the show schedules when you enter). I’ve seen many shows done in different parts of China around various nature settings, but this one was a surprise, with so many kinds of birds interacting with humans and combines with music and visual effects. Definitely do not miss it. Kids enjoyed the opportunity to feed animals and take photos with different birds. Definitely worth a whole day visit if you love wildlife and if you have kids. Note that foreign passport holders apparently can’t book discounted tickets on Chinese apps like Meituan and need to purchase tickets at the entrance.

It's not so impressive like Chimelong safari park but still pretty good option to spend the time. Area is big. Population of inhabitants counts numerous rare species of birds. The birds have a lot if space and it looks like they live in wildlife area. Bird Park is also one of the parks in Chimelong, so both hotels in the park provide free shuttle buses to the park. The location here is relatively remote, so there are fewer tourists than in the Wildlife Park. But it would be "miserable" if a nearby school organizes an event. There will be hundreds of students at once. You can imagine the scene[Chukle]. The whole park is a supplement to the wildlife park. It mainly features birds, with countless species, and many activities in different time periods. People generally choose to watch the "Hundred Birds Flying Song", where many different species of birds fly around in the sky. I personally think it's okay, but not that shocking. It is said that exploring by boat is a very interesting project. I was in a hurry to leave and didn't get to experience it, so I won't comment on it. There was a small show where a bird named "Xiao Liu" spoke, which really made me laugh. It could speak Mandarin and Cantonese, and it spoke very standardly. If you closed your eyes and listened, you could hear it as a living person. In addition to birds, there are many reptile exhibitions here, as well as crocodiles and hippos. It will take most of the day to slowly explore them.

Chimelong Bird Park The most inconspicuous of the several major parks It is also a place that most people think is not worth going to. But it gave me a surprise! We spent most of the day shopping but still felt like we hadn’t had enough I waited until the park closed and took the last shuttle bus back to the hotel. There are many performances in it. If you calculate the time well, you can basically see them all. Fortunately, I was able to participate in the event✌ (Later, when I went to other parks, I was selected again, hahahaha 😂) The song of birds flying must not be missed. It is very beautiful.
