No.13 of Best Things to Do in San Francisco
In San Francisco's Chinatown, the cornice paintings, Qionglou Yuyu, and Chinese plaques that can be seen everywhere make people feel completely unfamiliar in a foreign country. 1. Main Streets There are two main streets in Chinatown: one is Duban Street and the other is City Dayton Street. Several trolleybus and bus routes pass through this street. The Chinatown Station, an extension of the T-Line of the San Francisco Light Rail Transit, which is expected to be opened in 2019, is also located under Dayton Street, which will also become an important rail station serving San Francisco’s Chinatown. 2. Traditional festivals Chinatown still retains the tradition of celebrating Chinese New Year. At this time of the year, Cantonese opera stages are set up in Chinatown, and shops have begun to sell all kinds of New Year goods, such as blessing characters and Spring Festival couplets. There are roast meat shops, grocery stores and layers of neon on the street. If you happen to be in San Francisco during the new year, you might as well come to Chinatown to experience it, maybe you will feel like you are back home.

#celebratewithtrip
Best Chinatown inspired experience in the US! You can find a lot of places to buy a souvenir, eat Chinese food or markets where you can find groceries in an affordable price. It is so beautiful decorated with symbols and accents from Chinese culture and so many different market and food options. It was amazing.

Such a won
Such a wonderful trip and beautiful city. San Francisco was in my wildest dreams, never thought that I would have the opportunity to walk in their beautiful streets and hills. It was so excited and beautiful, seen all those places that I have seen in the movies. Definitely it’s a city that needs a lot of time to really see, explore and appreciate. #mytripvlog #fallingforfall #tripblazers

One of the oldest Chinatown on foot
This is one of the oldest and most established Chinatown in the United States. It is very easy to explore by foot, bring your walking shoes, as there are steep hills along the way. You can start from the Financial District and walk around the Chinatown, discovering the interesting wall murals. If you are craving for some Dim Sum, can drop by those dim sum joints or traditional eateries to have a break before continuing the walk.
There are ornate temples including the landmark Tien How, as well as the Chinese Historical Society of America Museum.
The end of the walking tour can be at the iconic Dragon’s Gate.

Chinatown
Chinatown in downtown San Francisco is the largest Chinese gathering area in the west. It houses more than 80,000 Chinese and overseas Chinese, where the shops are marked in Chinese. Pearl milk tea, mahjong chess, all kinds of life groceries are sold, the ear is Cantonese mixed with Mandarin, and they do not feel that they are in the United States.
is the Chinese New Year of the Lunar New Year, so there is a Cantonese opera on the Chinese street, and there are also various kinds of characters for selling the New Year. We will be here for the New Year. Many times, I feel that I have arrived in Hong Kong. The street is a roasting shop, a grocery store and a layer of neon. The neighborhood is full of family life.

🇺🇸San Francisco Chinatown: Cultural echoes of the Golden Gate City🏮
San Francisco, a diverse West Coast city, has an Asian flair with its San Francisco Chinatown. In 1848, the gold mining boom attracted Chinese migration, and in the 1850s Chinatown was formed, becoming the oldest Chinese community in North America. In the 1860s, the Dragon Gate and Wave Street were built, retaining traditional architecture and festivals, and rebuilt by a major earthquake in the early 20th century.
Strolling through the streets, the entrance to Longmen is majestic, the red building dotted with gold sign on Wave Street, the autumn sun shines on the stone road, fragrant; Jinshan Temple is simple and elegant, the market sells Chinese dim sum, winter is slightly cold, need to wear a thin jacket to keep warm. Open year-round, feel free to explore the poetic echoes of this culture. It's really worth a try, has anyone been there? Share it with me! 🏮

Picturesque… SAN FRANCISCO 🇺🇸
San Francisco is a lovely and cozy city to visit.
Recommended places to visit :
📌fisherman wharf / pier 39
It’s a scenic and relaxing along fisherman wharf. There are many piers along the way but pier 39 is my favourite. There are restaurants around the area as well.
📌Chinatown and its Shanghai theme bars
Lively town , alot of shops selling souvenirs like magnets at decent prices to choose from.
📌Lombard street - this is the famous crooked street, bring a comfy shoes if you are walking around the area as it’s steep
📌Golden Gate Bridge - beautiful and magnificent bridge as seen in pictures. In real life, it’s even better 🩷

Beautiful Chinatown in San Francisco

📍Chinatown, San Francisco
Of course we had to visit Chinatown while travelling to San Francisco for a short trip. It is one of the largest Chinatown outside Asia, with plenty of dangling red lanterns on the streets, colourful shops with some Chinese words, dragon gates. Such a cool and unique neighbourhood to walk around and hang out. There are plenty of shops to stop by and have a look for such stores that sell dimsum, steamed buns, jewellery stones, touristy souvenirs shop and more! We spent around 3 hours here just hanging around and had some Chinese cuisine for lunch. Beautiful neighbourhood that everyone should visit while travelling to San Francisco!

San Francisco’s Finest: My Top 5 Travel Picks
I love San Francisco! I’ve visited this unique city twice and I can’t wait to go back a third time!
Here are some of my favorite things to do in the city:
1️⃣ The Painted Ladies - This icon row of colorful houses sits against the stunning backdrop of the city. After snapping the ladies, take a walk through the surrounding neighborhood as the architecture is beautiful!
2️⃣San Francisco Tram - The tram network in the city is extensive and there are many photo opportunities throughout the city to snap the tram in action!
3️⃣The Golden Gate Bridge - Whether you walk or cycle, crossing The Golden Gate Bridge is a must! You’ll find excellent viewpoints on both sides!
4️⃣Little Italy - A beautiful area that really comes to life at dusk. There are a plethora of Italian restaurants and cafes for you to feast in! If you’re after a good sandwich check out “Molinari Delicatessen”
5️⃣Chinatown - One of the best Chinatowns I have been to! There’s lots of Chinese culture to explore and hills cut through the area so you can get some great pictures of the city with the Bay Bridge in the distance!
This is just a slice of what San Francisco has to offer and I could truly spend weeks in this city and not feel bored!
