This unique bookstore which located at the top level of REXKL (Pic 2), was one of the most Instagramable places in the capital city of Malaysia. REXKL was located near the Chinatown of KL. The first level was a tropical style bar with a unique small cafe at the entrance. Level 2 has an old movie theatre and strawberry farm which is quite unique and is it not found-able in other shopping malls. Beryl's Jalan Panggong Outlet store in Chinatown. You can buy the same chocolate at the supermarket for the same price, but shopping in a cute, retro Malaysian building is a much better experience! Also, this time I tried Malaysian white coffee at the cafe attached to the store, and although I can't describe the taste, it was incredibly delicious. Malaysian coffee is usually sweet by default (even at white coffee chains), but this coffee was properly black and had a very rich flavor. I was able to discover some great coffee and buy a lot of Beryl's chocolate, so I'm very satisfied!! #0yentravelautumn

The entire store is in white, with matcha bar counter in the middle of the store where the staff prepared the food and drinks. They offered 4 different matcha powder for their matcha lattes which includes Ren, Kiku, Ajisai and Yuri. Besides, there are also hojicha and genmaicha lattes available! I have visited a couple of times and my go to order would be is Genmaicha latte with oat milk? I love it! Its got the umami and strong genmaicha aroma, pairing it with oat milk is just a delight! Oh, love their burnt cheesecake as well, it’s so good! Quite limited space in the café, so you might have it to go. Visited Chinatown Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and had lunch at this unique cafe called “Da Bao”, which in Chinese is “take away” food. As it was located at one of the older design shop houses, they have a pretty large 2nd storey. The cafe decoration is fusion between eastern and western style. They are focus on serving large bun with meats in it. I decided for the pork bun and it was very delicious. They added some peasant into it and with the pork sauce, it was perfect. Highly recommended this cafe if you are in Chinatown KL.

Priced between RM40-50 each, these glasses may not be cheap but they’re unique and creative in taste and presentation.
