This is a premium ice cream shop, offering ground floor with normal flavour, and second floor is full of alcoholic ice cream options. This shop is also full of seatings around, with nice natural lighting.

This unique bookstore which located at the top level of REXKL (Pic 2), was one of the most Instagramable places in the capital city of Malaysia. REXKL was located near the Chinatown of KL. The first level was a tropical style bar with a unique small cafe at the entrance. Level 2 has an old movie theatre and strawberry farm which is quite unique and is it not found-able in other shopping malls. The entire store is in white, with matcha bar counter in the middle of the store where the staff prepared the food and drinks. They offered 4 different matcha powder for their matcha lattes which includes Ren, Kiku, Ajisai and Yuri. Besides, there are also hojicha and genmaicha lattes available! I have visited a couple of times and my go to order would be is Genmaicha latte with oat milk? I love it! Its got the umami and strong genmaicha aroma, pairing it with oat milk is just a delight! Oh, love their burnt cheesecake as well, it’s so good! Quite limited space in the café, so you might have it to go. Visited Chinatown Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and had lunch at this unique cafe called “Da Bao”, which in Chinese is “take away” food. As it was located at one of the older design shop houses, they have a pretty large 2nd storey. The cafe decoration is fusion between eastern and western style. They are focus on serving large bun with meats in it. I decided for the pork bun and it was very delicious. They added some peasant into it and with the pork sauce, it was perfect. Highly recommended this cafe if you are in Chinatown KL.

Her House KL is a hidden bar located within an old traditional building. Follow the nondescript arrows up the stairs and enter through a mirrored corridor to reach the bar. The bar is decked in shades of pink and purple, dim enough for the mood but yet bright enough to dine in. There’s some hype music playing through the speakers, but conversations could be comfortably deciphered so it still makes for a good group outing. While they do serve hot food like skewers and mains, we were there to try out their signature cocktails! Priced between RM40-50 each, these glasses may not be cheap but they’re unique and creative in taste and presentation. The “Green Curtain” was a concoction of gin, matcha and calpis, while “Envy Me” mixed sake with osmanthus and white grape. For something more adventurous, “Flirt & Romance” comes with vodka washed in salmon fats, while “Most Wanted” is served with a slice of baijiu-soaked pork.
