It is located on a small hillside near the sea in Chi Wan, Nanshan, next to the container terminal. There is also a subway station called Left Fortress Station. The hillside is not high. It takes about 15 minutes to walk up. There is a bronze statue of Lin Zexu on it. Everyone should know him. There is a cannon next door, called the left fortress, I don't know if there should be a place called the fortress, but we didn't delve into it. We visited this place on Saturday and it was a great place because there aren’t too many people when we arrived. The view is amazing from around the area. You can see Chiwan Bay from up above the temple. The fort is not that far from line 2 Chiwan Metro station. Bus number 226 can take you up to the fort, but you can also walk from the metro station to this place. Better do it in the afternoon because of the weather. Although there are not too many things to see but the surrounding is very quiet and nice. Bring some water or snacks with you when you climb up because you can’t find any vending machine for water around this area.
