Chongdugou Travel Guide:
• Overview:
• Chongdugou is a national 4A tourist attraction, known for its "bamboo, water, and accommodation" and is the most vibrant scenic area in western Henan.
• The entire scenic area is Y-shaped, divided into the south area (Jinji River) and the west area (Dicui River), with ecological attractions in the south area and core accommodation in the west area.
• Recommended duration:
• 2 days and 1 night or 2 days and 2 nights. It would be a pity not to stay overnight in Chongdugou.
• Travel tips:
• Chongdugou is suitable for self-driving tours. Except during peak season, there are plenty of parking spaces in the scenic area.
• It is 131 km from Luoyang to Chongdugou, which takes 1 hour and 47 minutes by car. It is 253 km from Zhengzhou to Chongdugou, which takes 3 hours and 15 minutes by car.
• 2-day itinerary:
• Day 1: Mountain springs, waterfalls, and ancient trees (Jinji River Scenic Area, 3–5 hours), including the central area, Bodhi Tree, Shuangling Cableway, Shuangdie Waterfall, etc. In the afternoon, you can visit Swan Lake and go rafting. In the evening, you can have dinner at Zhuxiang Water Street and visit the central area at night.
• Day 2: Bamboo, water, and caves (Dicui River Scenic Area, 2.5 hours), including the homestay area, Nonggeng Village, Zhentianlei Waterfall, etc.
• Self-driving route:
• Zhengshao Expressway—Luoluan Expressway—Expressway exit (Chongdugou Station or Jiulongshan Station)—pass by Chongdugou Bamboo Rafting, Beixiang Resort, etc. and arrive in about 20 minutes.
• Entertainment:
• Jinji River Scenic Area: Shuangling Cableway, Internet-famous bridge, bamboo sedan chair, slide, etc.
• Dicui River Scenic Area: Yunding Cableway, tube slide, flying trapeze, etc.
• Nonggeng folk culture tour:
